Wanted to make use of the long rendering time for commissioned work, so I decided to upload my recent castle build.

This build project was originally just a gradient palette test using the quartz, bone, mushroom stem, and diorite block. Then I decided to make a castle using that palette, with the angular roof style similar to the Minas Morgul of the LotR series. I've added animated gates with soundeffects using command blocks, and custom monsters that spawns randomly in the castle.

Unfortunately had to change the design before uploading because Mineways doesn't export armorstands, shulker boxes, and custom textured player heads.

Built in Minecraft ver 1.11 using default texture. Map clean up with WorldEdit and MCEdit. Exported with Mineways (still getting misplaced blocks). Unwrapped uv in ZBrush. AO, light, and gradient map (for fake fog) baked in 3ds Max. Beacon light beam and snow particles added in 3ds Max.

Frostbone Keep

Free Download. Lord of the Rings cave troll model in an A-pose, for people looking to rig and animate it.

LOTR Cave Troll - (for animating/rigging)

Just a couple of orcs inspired by the Uruk Hais in Lord of the Rings. 

Zbrush, 3Ds Max, Substance and Photoshop was used in the creation.

**NOTE:** The clavicle of the troll is raised in this default pose, it's supposed to be lowered when in a relaxed pose.

My first proper attempt at a character, as well as my first proper crack at sculpting. It's a troll from LOTR, with some slight creative liberties taken; the trolls in the films aren't quite so jacked. Looking to animate it as well, and add another version with armor, but that will have to wait. I have to figure out how in the world i export out the pose space deformations before i can add animations to it.

Also, props to Sketchfab's Sub Surface Scattering addition. It makes such a huge difference for skin realism.

Sculpted in 3D-Coat, retopo in Maya, rigged & posed in Maya, textured & baked in Substance Painter.

Glamdring Sword

The Order of Nishroch is a secretive and fanatical sect whose every action revolves around the fulfillment of an ancient prophecy.
