Rework of one of my older models that received quite a lot of attention. I optimised the geometry, UVs, materials and created the new textures for it. Also made a few changes from the original concept and made a properly working rig this time. Enjoy!

The Borchardt C-93 (Construktion 93) pistol was designed by Hugo Borchardt (1844–1921) in 1893. Ludwig Loewe & Company of Berlin, Germany, a manufacturer of machine tools, produced the C-93, a semi-automatic pistol that he had invented based upon the Maxim toggle-bolt design. Borchardt also developed the high-velocity bottlenecked 7.65×25mm Borchardt cartridge for the C-93. Borchardt's assistant at the time, Georg Luger, also claimed to have influenced its design. With over 3,000 manufactured by Loewe and Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken, Borchardt C-93 was the first mass-produced semi-automatic pistol.

The PKM was adopted into service in 1969. The PKM is a modernized, product-improved version of the PK. The upgrades, primarily aimed at reducing the weight, simplifying production, and facilitating easier operation. The receiver cover became more rigid due to lengthwise ribs. The butt was fitted with a hinged butt-rest. The barrel fluting was omitted and the flash hider was changed. Later on the PKM was equipped with a new black glass-filled polyamide buttstock and pistol grip shaped like the previously used laminated wooden stock and grip.

This is a reproduction of the iconic German rifle of the World War 2. The whole is modeled in Blender and textured in Substance Painter. Lowpoly, optimized for modern game engines. All the textures are provided in 4K.

The MP 40 (Maschinenpistole 40) is a submachine gun chambered for the 9×19mm Parabellum cartridge. It was developed in Nazi Germany and used extensively by the Axis powers during World War II. Two pistol barrels are arranged vertically, one on top of the other. Initially, over e section measuring approx. 7 cm they are octagonal, then they change into hexagonal ones, to finally become round barrels. The bases of the barrels were decorated with an engraved geometric-floral ornament and the manufacturer’s mark on the barrels: “SCHLEGELMILCH IN OEDENBURG”. The external parts of the caplock mechanism are decorated with an engraved floral ornament. The triggers are surrounded by a brass trigger guard, which reaches up to the tip of the stock. On the trigger guard, oak leaves and initials “C. Ł.” are engraved.
