PETstock is a family-owned and operated business that started in 2002 in regional Victoria, 11 years after the Young family took ownership of Ballarat Produce in 1991. Over the past 16 years, Brothers David and Shane have grown the business into the second-biggest specialty pet retailer in Australia, after Greencross Limited’s Petbarn.

Radio Rentals was formed by Percy Perring-Thoms in 1930 in Brighton, Sussex, UK to rent out radio sets as well as offering televisions and video recorders for rent in later years. In 1939, the business expanded into Australia with the first shopfront opening on Market Street, Sydney in 1937. The company now operates over 90 Radio Rentals stores within Australia, and 28 stores in New Zealand.

Sony recorder from mindhunter tv series. Wasn't really making this for realtime but decided to upload unsmoothed mesh. 

I've also played a cover of the main theme on my piano and made a small loop.

The MK 235 cassette recorder (sometimes referred to as “ZRK MK 235” or “MK 235 Automatic”) was manufactured in 1976-1978. The portable cassette recorder, positioned on the boundary of popular and standard product classes, was designed to record sound and play back recordings. Its design was based on the licensed C-235 model by Grundig. It incorporated transistors and an integrated circuit. The MK 235 is powered from an AC source or batteries (five R14 type batteries). Operation time using batteries is about 14 hours. The tape recorder is designed to play cassettes at a tape speed of 4.75 cm/s. The aesthetics of the device are minimalistic, dominated by the geometry of its overall shape. Its form is livened up by the rounding of its edges, using geometric shapes and grooves to divide the planes.

The Tonette portable mono tape recorder was manufactured in Warsaw from 1963 to the early 1970s. The tape recorder had an innovative design that broke the ties with the aesthetics of industrial design of the 1950s. The tape recorder’s electrical system uses electron ray vacuum tubes and diodes on printed circuit boards. The mains-powered device uses alternating current. A single-phase induction electrical motor, the SAZ-1,7, is used to drive the tape mechanism.  The recording mechanism comprises two half-track heads – one erase head and one recording/playback head – with two tape speeds (4.75 and 9.50 cm/s). The innovation in the tape recorder’s design was the use of a frame made of a light pressure casting of an aluminium alloy, to which all mechanical and electronic components, as well as the modular housing, were mounted.

The ZR-04 broadcasting system was manufactured in the 1980s. It was the final stage of communist Poland, which had an impact on the scale and methods of production of consumer goods. Society was becoming poorer, and the nation’s economy was struggling. Hence, for the electrical engineering industry, the period saw a major slowdown in comparison with the dynamic growth of the 1970s. The ZR-04 broadcasting centre comprises: cassette recorder, car radio, gramophone, and amplifier. A broadcasting centre is the core of a wired public address system. It is the source station allowing creation, broadcasting, and application of programmes. The device enables the management of a set of amplification devices embedded in the infrastructure of public utility buildings, such as schools, boarding houses, offices, railway stations, and communal life spaces like workplaces, prisons, or supermarkets.
