*Wiwaxia* had a tiny body covered in overlapping defensive **sclerites**. The hidden, lower surface consisted of a muscular foot and mouthparts for scraping food, like algae, off the sea floor. Wiwixia would have crawled slowly over the sea floor in search of food, as many similar molluscs do today.

As a disclaimer:
The age on this model is showing tremendously and it no longer represents my best work. I have re-rigged it to make it a bit more presentable, but if you into edit mode whatever you see there is not my fault. 

Important note: Controls for a basic IK/FK are on the root bone. Select the root and look inside the 'N' panel -> 'Item' tab -> 'Properties'. You will also find a binary toggle for subsurf on the entire model here. I recommend turning subsurf off entirely ('0' on the toggle) otherwise it's going to run *real* slow. The file also has 'Simplify' turned on by default with a max level of one.

Minato Aqua (hololive)

This is the biggest model I have posted in Sketchfab, that could make it slow to load. This model of the masterchief monument - executed by French sculptor Aimé-Jules Dalou, is made from almost 500 photos of 24 MPixel (taken from the ground) with ContextCapture, the photogrammetry software of Acute3D, Bentley Systems. I did not retouch the mesh, only cropped it, remove texture, made ambient occlusion in Meshlab, used lighting of Sketchfab.

Logo: A picture of the Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank is seen with a gold tint, and "ripples" slowly before rotating to reveal itself as the WB shield over the quintessential cloud skyline, both of which are now redone in CGI. The shield rotates and zooms out to its usual position, with the company byline fading in underneath.

Trivia: If one pauses right before the transition from the backlot image to the shield animation, posters and murals can be seen on the studio walls on Olive Avenue. The Tōhoku earthquake (9.1 magnitude) hit Japan on March 11, 2011 for a duration of 5 minutes, and was followed by a tsunami which claimed the life of close to 16.000 people.  

The seismic events shown took place on that same day, between 01h41 and 23h59 (GMT). At 0.5X animation speed, 1 second of animation = 1 hour in real time.

The main earthquake happened at 05h46 (1:80 mark in the animation), and slowing down the animation speed to 0.1X or keeping manual control around this event should allow you to better understand the aftershocks propagation.

As always, comments and criticism is always accepted! This onee took quite a long time and I really wanted to convey what the original artist had intended with a bit of differences here, such as physical moving clouds within the speakers, among other things like the cassette tape actually moving and flowers "growing" out of the player! I originally tried using a boolean to "cut off" the flowers and slowly uncover them as the door opened, but I guess Sketchfab doesn't like Blender modifiers that are still active when being uploaded, so I had to improvise. It's not perfect, but I'm content with how it came out! LMK what you think. <3

The pistosaur was a seareptile and in  not part of the plesiosaur clade. This model is far from perfect, but still worth to share. I took a lot of time in sculpting the thing. I have got 2k normals for the body group, but sketchfab is getting slow when I upload them.

Pupation is a stage in the life of an insect where it transforms from larva into an imago. One creature enters the cocoon, and a radically different one emerges from it. Such drastic change in the midst of life. Big risk that comes with being immobilised, slowly dissolved and rematerialised again. How does it feel? Do the memories and experiences of past life remain in the new body? Is the insect after moulting even the same as the one it was before? To me, this dilemma resembles the one of the ship of Theseus: a vessel which after leaving the port has been fixed and modified on its journey, until upon arriving at its destination none of the original parts remained, begging the question, has it remained the same thing or is it something new?</br>

Hi! This is a Green Turtle for the 3D Sculpting Challenge: Underwater Creatures, on a last hours of challenge! It's turtle. so this is why it came so late. Did you get it? It's late, because turtles are slow and not puntual because of that. 
But enough with lazy puns - it's time to swim further - to the Glorious Future!

Question to participants/Sketchfab staff: I couldn't find anywhere in the rules that I can't do it, but I noticed no other participants use it - Am I allowed to have a custom background? Or does it count as post-processing? 

Eeey, I participated in the challenge :D It was quite fun to make. I thought of this idea that what if Athena in her fury, wanted Arachne to suffer as much as possible and instead of instantly transforming her into a spider, took her sweet time and tortured Arachne by slowly corrupting her entire body and turning it into something hideous. 

I tried to go for a bit different palette ( fantasy exotic-like spiders) than what you would expect from the usual spiders, to see how that would turn out. It was really fun!

3D Cyprus Reptiles: Large whip snake - SCENE 03

I made this sword in Blender with the idea of making an embellished Long sword for a cursed knight character, this has a lot of details and would be fit for slow form of combat with wide swings and heavy fighting style.

This is a small project I have been slowly piecing together with a combination of lunch break hours while at work.

This asset was modelling in 3dsmax and sculpted in zbrush, textured in Substance Painter & rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 2. Additional clean up on the model (flame effects) were done in photoshop.

This project was a small exercise to play around with stylistic art with a more realistic surface quality.
