The coffin ensemble of Taditjaina consists of an outer coffin (inventory no. 150a; approx. 76 x 193 x 73 cm) and an inner one (inventory no. 150b; approx. 43 x 173 x 48 cm). They are possibly from the Theban necropolis, and date back to the beginning of the 26th Dynasty (approx. 664–525 B.C.). Both coffins perfectly fit into one another. The two coffins and the mummy of lady Taditjaina were a gift to the Württembergian royal house from the German consul to Alexandria, Mr. von Dumreicher, between 1820 and 1830. They were later given to the University of Tübingen in 1911. The wooden coffins are white stuccoed, and have polychrome scenes, painted red, black, blue, dark green and yellow. The inscriptions of the coffins contain various scenes and texts from the ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead—a guide for the afterlife. The texts should guarantee the continued existence and provision of Taditjaina, the lady of the house, the noble one, in the Netherworld.

Marble portrait head of Alexander the Great: the head was cut to fit into a separately made body. The surface is in good condition with only minor abrasions. The back of the head has been worked to receive the remainder of the hair, which was probably made of another material, such as stucco or plaster.

Stucco decoration of the upper dome

**Polychrome wood carving (14th-15th century).**

Originally from the Church of Santa María de Tábara and currently on display in the permanent collection of the Zamora Museum (Spain).
I created this model from an incomplete and low-quality photogrammetry image. I processed it with Reality Capture and had to discard the texture of the original model due to the poor lighting quality. I then used Blender to complete the parts of the sculpture that were not captured (mainly the back). Next, in ZBrush, I sculpted the reconstructed parts and integrated them with the original photogrammetry. Finally, I recreated the texture with Substance 3D Painter, reproducing the current state of the piece. The deterioration of the polychrome layer and the damaged stucco layer reveal the wood beneath in some areas.

Fragmentary sculpture worked in modeled stucco, corresponding to the lower half of an anthropomorphic face. It exhibits a pinkish coloration and a mouth with full lips, slightly open and showing the teeth. The nasal septum, cheeks, and chin are clearly defined.

Tetrapod bowl with divergent walls and a concave base. It features mammiform supports with perforations and rattle elements. The surface is decorated with two spider monkeys (Ateles geoffroyii) modeled in relief, placed on opposite sides of the vessel, with arms and legs extended in an ascending posture, as if climbing the wall of the vessel. The ceramic is orange in color with Usulután-style decoration, but it was later covered with polychrome stucco (green, red, black, white, and yellow), a tradition that began at Kaminaljuyú during the Early Classic period. The stucco decoration displays geometric figures and volutes. The vessel and its original ceramic decoration date to the Late Preclassic period.

Ocarina

Stuccoed anthropomorphic skull, apparently female, that has teeth in both jaws and a complete cochlea. The skull is covered in stucco which was modeled to show a face with feline features, with open eyes, a prominent nose, open mouth and modeled ears. It is probably a jaguar, given the supernatural importance of such animal in Mayan culture. This piece was analyzed with the Carbon 14 test which dated it to the 16th century, just before the time of the Contact with the Europeans.
