Imported my old cathedral build and updated it with new blocks, new building techniques, and new surroundings. It was a self-challenge to see how realistic I can make it using only blocks/textures/techniques available in vanilla minecraft. The map was made on a 1.8 build server but packed & uploaded in 1.12.

Had to remove some features from the map during export due to technical difficulties, so it's better to check out the map ingame if you can. The lightmap res is pretty small for each block due to the number of blocks in the whole scene.

Testing multiple texture res and UV channels for optimization. One UV set for detail block textures, another for overall glossiness, AO baking, and water normals.

* Built in minecraft 1.12.2 using only vanilla techniques and the new default textures.
* Exported with Mineways
* Unwrapped secondary UV and baked AO map in 3ds Max
* Generated normal maps with Crazybump
* Generated various maps in Substance Painter
* Edited textures with Photoshop

Postal 2 beetles

Just a 3D scene with the main character of GTA Vice City and my replica of the legendary "Hermes" car. It comes in two colors: a dark gangster color with fiery lines, and a more "vanilla" pink color, more for style enthusiasts than for street tough guys.


 You can use these assets in your own projects. 


 There are also STL files of this car that you can print and add to your collection, use as props, or decorate your interior.

Made a separate vanilla minecraft build using similar technique on making trees and plants from my previous [cambodian build](https://sketchfab.com/models/1af10bee0d374242a7bd29eb307c4d2c). Wanted to share this to show how detailed forest can be **without using any resourcepacks and mods**.
