Personal project featuring a detailed 3D reproduction of the iconic Apple II computer.

*Released in 1977 by Apple Inc. and designed by Steve Wozniak, the Apple II was one of the first widely successful personal computers, helping bring computing into homes and schools around the world.*

This model includes its floppy disk drives, joystick, and graphics tablet, carefully recreated to match the original hardware.

From the wiki: "Conceptualized for Van Buren by Chris Applehans and modeled by Glenn Price, the Lil' Pip is not mentioned in design documents, suggesting it came about later in development. Joshua Sawyer later included it in his tabletop RPG, describing it as a much less cumbersome device worn on the forearm, but offering all the functionality of its bigger variant. The device used integrated circuits, rather than vacuum tubes, a flip-up split-screen monitor with three display colors to choose from (green, blue, and red), and could accept up to six data tubes as expansion hardware to expand its functionality. However, it was not a sales success, due to the fragility of the device, as compared to the rugged 2000 series. It could read holodisks like any other device, using a loading tray."

Black Hole with Customizable Animated accretion disk for Cycles and EEVEE. For best results in EEVEE set your renderer to EEVEE and enable Raytracing. Then in the raytracing menu toggle down Screen Tracing and increase the Thickness until the gaps in the lensing disappear 10 100 m . Incense burner with “theater-type” lid, of Teotihuacan-inspired tradition. The lid features a standing figure wearing an ornate headdress embellished with floral appliqués, butterflies, circular elements, and pendant fringes in yellow and green pigments. Crowning the headdress is a supernatural butterfly visage with prominent fangs, an iconographic motif closely associated with warfare in Mesoamerica. This is a model of Ventura series h24311730 by Hamilton Swish watch company. You can rotate the handles and the date disk from their origins.

This model is the result of further programming experiments (C++) on my path to recreating space objects. 

If you're curious, here are a few clues about its creation :

* I initially scattered the stars in a disk-like fashion, and gave them a tangential initial rotation speed.
* The system is driven through a mix of gravitational forces and vorticity, but I had to create additional attractors in a rotating spiral pattern to emphasize the shape of the galaxy arms.
* Note that this "simulation" does not take into consideration the reciprocical attraction between stars (that would take way too long for now...).
* Computing 150 iterations for 50k particles and 54 forces (most due to the "spiral forcing")  took approximately 20 seconds on my laptop. 
* Each particle was colored in a range related to their initial distance to the center of the galaxy (red-ish in the center, blue-ish at the rim).
