Built in Auckland in 1884, the steam tug Awhina served a long career in Albany, notably supporting the 1914 ANZAC fleet and saving the steamer Castlemoor from fire in 1928. After being stripped for scrap, the vessel was towed to Ledge Bay and burned on April 19, 1936, leaving its boiler and robust timber framing as a permanent fixture of the coastline. The site remains a rare example of 19th-century New Zealand shipbuilding, characterized by the reinforced construction required for heavy-duty maritime towing.

Awhina 1936 Shipwreck, Albany

A temporary memorial (where members of the public have placed flowers) to Elizabeth II at the site of her birth on Bruton Street, London.

The plaque reads: "At this site at 17 Bruton Street stood the townhouse of the Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne where Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor, later to become Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, was born on 21 April 1926."

The April table set was designed by Swiss designer Alfredo H berli in 2012. The massive wooden base is harmoniously combined with the tabletop by traditional wooden joinery

George Avery, a 19 yr old blacksmith, joined Company D of the 40th United States Colored Troops, in Greenville, TN. This correspondss with the Union troops arriving in Asheville in April of 1865. The troops liberated the local enlaved population and recruited about forty who followed them to Greenville. Avery is buried in South Asheville Cemetery, Asheville, North Carolina. 
The Headstone was scanned using an Artec Leo scanner and processed using the Artec Studio 18 program.

This small bronze monument honors *Charlotte Müller* (born October 18, 1840 – died April 8, 1935), known as the oldest street vendor in the world. She ran a popular fruit and sweets stand near the Göttingen train station from 1889 until her death at age 94. A beloved local figure, she was twice widowed, had three daughters, and became famous for her long career, later even noted in the Guinness Book of Records.

The sculpture, created by American-born sculptor *Katharine Hobson-Kraus*, shows Charlotte in a kneeling pose as if selling her wares. Charlotte posed for the artist in 1932, three years before her passing.
