Plastic Tree

Rock 12, the is the largest area of exposed bedrock at Seradina and, with its hundreds of carvings, constitutes an exceptional window on the world of the Iron Age Valcamonica tribes.

The wide surface is one of the most important and well-known in the whole of Valcamonica rock art and is marked by themes which make it unique in the context of the local Iron Age.

The bottom section of Rock 12 comprises warriors (including duels) and horsemen, but it is dominated by an unusual composition of several unarmed humans with their arms pointing downwards.  This is a gesture towards the Earth, unlike the 'praying men' who hold their arms up  as if addressing the sky.

A human figure  larger than the others is positioned in the centre of the composition, His power, which has nothing to do with weapons, is emphasosed by his large hands, large feet and clearly visible gender.  The exceptional elements indicate him as a possible deity, shaman or ancestor-spirit (early Iron Age).

Low Poly House

Here’s a neat little prop I had fun putting together—a two inch bronze bell with a simple, classic shape that should slot nicely into a bunch of different scenes. I kept the proportions slightly stylized so it reads clearly even at small scales, while still feeling grounded and believable. The surface has a soft, worn bronze finish with subtle patina variation, just enough to catch light nicely in renders without going overboard on grunge. The lip edge is gently rounded, and there’s a small loop at the top for easy rigging or hanging setups. Interior is modeled as well, so you can get those nice shadow details if the camera ever peeks inside. Topology is clean and animation-friendly, nothing crazy—should subdivide well if you need extra smoothness. Works great as a decorative asset, ambient prop, or even something interactive if you want to rig a little swing. Feel free to tweak materials depending on your scene’s lighting style. feel free to use it in game :)

𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥 ² ⁱⁿᶜʰᵉˢ

At Ynys we parked up in the village and followed the sign leading up the hill to Eglwys Llanfihangel Y Traethau. In the churchyard is an extremely interesting gravestone. Important because a) it is positively dated to the reign of Owain Gwynedd, the King who reigned between 1137 and 1170, and b) it is the grave of a woman, clearly of status. 

The stone reads Hoc (or perhaps Hic) est sepulchrum Wleder matris
Odeleu qui primus edificavit
hanc ecclesiam
in tempore Ewini regis

This means, "Here is the grave of Wleder mother of Hoedliw who first built this church in the reign of King Owain".

The script is carved in a Carolingian style that came to Britain along with the Normans.

Sadly nothing remains of the 12th C church, and we don't know anything more about Wleder or Hoedliw, but there are great views from the church over the Traeth back towards Porthmadog.

Model for nothing

This is my entrance in the Current Events challenge. Obiovusly most important event for me as a dweller of Eastern Europe from the last half of decade was war agreession against Ukraine, which started in 2014, from annexation of the Crimea - peninsula at the south part of the country. This event was followed by aggression on the eastern region, right in the regions, which have direct borders with Russian Federation on the ground. 
This is the control tower of Donetsk International Airport, as you may guess from the title. This milestone became the symbol of the resistance and was defended 242 days until completely destroyed by pro-russian terrorists on January 21st of 2015, and when there nothing left to defend. 
Protectors of this airport were called Cyborgs, and after this there was saying: "Concrete not withstood, but Cyborgs did". 
Inspired by amazing airscans by @mschroyer and Ukrainian warriors, whom just left their civilan lives to became protectors of Motherland.
Battles in area is still ongoing.

After a few months of doing nothing, I finally made a new piece. Hope you like it!
So, here's 'STG-44' or 'Sturmgewehr 44' or 'Assault Rifle 44' - a German weapon developed during World War II. This gun's influence can still be seen in modern assault rifles.

The ASP-17ML heads up display was created by Kyiv Central Design Bureau "Arsenal" and introduced for the MiG-23MLA (23-12A) in 1978. It was an evolution of the previous ASP-23DTsM HUD, but made from the basis of the ASP-17 as developed for MiG-23B. This meant it had better A/G capabilites, including CCIP and CCRP. 

It could display CRT symbology for radar/IRST targets, navigation, A/A cannon and flight data, while still keeping the ASP-17's traditional electromechanical gunsight as a secondary mode (АСП/РП).

I had nothing but a handful of reference photos to eyeball the proportions from, so don't expect 1:1 accuracy.
