Above and below the rim are two horizontal bands, one black and the other red, followed by a horizontal band of pseudo-glyphs painted in red. The decorated surface features two medallions placed on opposite sides of the wall, separated by vertical sets of three concentric circles. Each medallion contains the head of the god K’awil, painted in red and shown in left-facing profile.
