Miniature bowl with lid, in the manner of urns from the Quiché region. Ihe exterior features conical spikes or spines, evoking the thorns of a young ceiba trunk. The flat lid features an anthropomorphic head as a handle, with facial features rendered through punctation. The surface is coarse in finish. Due to its small size, it may have been used as a toy. Marked “a” corresponds to the bowl, and marked “b” to the lid.
