Description
Recorded in DES 2004 as (possibly) CR1 (1), with one basin and 6 cup marks.
A large, fragmented outcrop which drops off vertically by up to 0.8m on its S & E sides, with the N side at ground level and the W side gradully sloping off by about 10-20 degrees.
No surprises from the model but 3 additional cup marks were noted in the field. The basin is prominent on the E side of the rock near the highest point, measuring 15 x 13 x 4cm. The cups are in two groups towards the N & S sides of the rock. Each of the two groups appears to be associated with aprominent quartz inclusions, which stand proud of the rock surface. Three of the cup marks in the N grouping are larger than usual at 7,8 & 9cm in diameter and up to 3cm deep.
