These ‘Venus’ figures start to be carved by our modern ancestors over 30,000 years ago and may have been religious or fertility symbols. Object in the Royal Pavilion & Museums' archaeological collections, digitised by the University of Brighton's Cultural Informatics team. Accession number: R3411/56
