Globular zoomorphic effigy vessel, in the form of a canine in a seated position with its head directed upward. The forelegs, facial features, and body with a protruding abdomen are clearly articulated. A functional opening indicates its use as a jar for the storage of liquids. The vessel dates to the Late Classic period and originates from the Guatemalan Highlands.
