Polychrome tripod plate (white, red, and black on an orange ground), with divergent walls and a flat base. The base features the image of a jaguar shown in right profile, in an upright and dynamic pose, holding a decapitated head. The central scene is framed by two thin bands, one red and the other segmented in black and white. The interior wall is decorated with a thicker band composed of alternating panels with K’in symbols and elements that appear to represent feathers. At the center of the plate is an intentionally made circular perforation, corresponding to the act of “killing” the vessel, a practice commonly associated with intentional deposits.
