Bronze buckle with guilding. At the far end of the plate there is a circular frame for a stone, around which are symmetrically placed 2 birds with ribbon-shaped cross-shaped bodies, large round eyes and strong curved beaks that bite over their own bodies. Around the frame for the stone and on the pins at the other end of the fitting there is also a ribbon braid in caraway. With the exception of the frame for the stone, the entire upper side of the fitting is gilded. On the underside of the fitting there are impressions of textiles. Dated to 800-850 AD. Viking period.
