Description
3D scan of a bearded man holding the jawbone of a Deinotherium in his arm. The Deinotherium, also known as the ‘tusk elephant’, lived from the Middle Miocene until the end of the Early Pleistocene.

The figure was created by Rudolf Weyr (1847-1914) and is part of the decorative program in Hall X of the Natural History Museum.
