I have been playing Destiny since day 1 of the first game, and this is the first piece of fanart that I have ever done for it. I really like the look of my hunter, and I knew I wanted to make him stand out through some kind of simple smoke effect. With these in mind I started modeling, and then hand painting the bust. It was fun trying to come up with ways to capture different materials, lighting, and picking which elements to include versus the ones to exclude.
