Ceramic flute with a sound chamber resembling a small “chaos chamber”. It is decorated with remnants of paint and white, yellow, and light blue stucco. Although it is a tubular instrument, archaeomusicological studies classify this object as a “noise generator” (Rodens, 2011; Rodens and Sánchez, 2014; and Bladimir Vázquez, personal communication, 2020). The “chaos chamber” is the area where turbulence is produced, generating its distinctive, rasping sound. Possibly originating from the region of Alta Verapaz.
