The 'Rock of the Sun' is to the right of the Rock of the Five Daggers. The sun symbol is shown, very indistinctly on the 3D model, to the left of centre at the bottom of the panel. Other Copper Age symbols - human figures & a zoomorphic figure, can also be faintly seen. The preservation of the white pigment delineating some of the upper figures is very rare and due to the protective nature of the overhang above them. There are also Christian-age crosses. The sacredness of the site is attested to by the presence of the Christian shrine (chapel) consecrated to the Virgin Mary.
