This 3D skull model was created by laser scanning the Museum's iconic *Diplodocus carnegii* cast.

Rotate, zoom in and explore the features of this popular dinosaur.

Dippy was the first *Diplodocus* (DIP-low-DOCK-us) to go on display anywhere in the world when it was gifted to the Museum in 1905. It quickly became a star, capturing hearts and imaginations.
Dippy then left the Museum in 2017 to complete a whirlwind tour of the UK. The skeleton will be on display at the Museum from 27 May until 2 January 2023.

To mark this event, we have prepared a set of 3D printable files which can be downloaded and printed on a conventional desktop 3D printer and assembled to create a three-quarter scale model of the skull, or a model which can be compiled from laser cut sections of cardboard.

The Raven was a Xenomorph of unknown breed that was encountered on LV-426 by a squad of Colonial Marines from the USS Sephora. The creature was found dwelling in the sewers beneath the ruins of Hadley's Hope. It was eventually killed by Corporal Winter, who fought the creature in a Power Loader.

Miles Morales is one of the main protagonists in Marvel's Spider-Man series. He is a prominent supporting character in Marvel's Spider-Man, and the titular protagonist of the standalone expansion Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. A seventeen-year-old teenager, he is a friend of Peter Parker and the son of police officer Jefferson Davis. Peter befriends Miles after his father's death, introducing him to the non-profit F.E.A.S.T. shelter so he can serve as a volunteer. Miles is unaware of Peter's secret identity as the masked vigilante Spider-Man, whom Miles idolizes. He eventually gains spider-like powers himself, which he reveals to Peter, who in turn reveals being Spider-Man. Under Peter's guidance, Miles attempts to step up as New York City's next superhero.

NijisanjiEN: Chibi Selen, Pomu, and Rosemi

Angkor Wat is a temple complex in Cambodia and the largest religious monument in the world, with the site measuring 162.6 hectares (402 acres). It was originally constructed as a Hindu temple of god Vishnu for the Khmer Empire, gradually transforming into a Buddhist temple towards the end of the 12th century. It was built by the Khmer King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century in Yaśodharapura, the capital of the Khmer Empire, as his state temple and eventual mausoleum. Breaking from the Shaiva tradition of previous kings, Angkor Wat was instead dedicated to Vishnu. As the best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious centre since its foundation. The temple is at the top of the high classical style of Khmer architecture. It has become a symbol of Cambodia, appearing on its national flag, and it is the country's prime attraction for visitors.

The Crypt Gallery under St Pancras New Church, Euston Road, London.

The church was built in 1819-22 and the brick walled crypt stretches under the whole church. The section shown in this model is the part open to the public as an events space. However it still contains old church memorials and tombs.

Smol HoloMyth Halloween Costumes!

The Swedish History Museum holds a large collection of bones of various kinds, including human remains. We living humans are both appalled by and attracted to visible evidence of death. The scanned human remains presented on Sketchfab from our museum are important museum artefacts, chosen because they represent a specific historical event. They also represent one of humanity’s worst acts: violence towards other humans. It is therefore our wish that you, as a viewer, use the 3D-models with respect. 

The image shows a human cranium with injuries on its left and front side. A small, square hole above the left eye and on the left cheek bone was probably caused by a pole weapon or a battle axe. The gash across the mouth could have been caused by a sword or a thin bladed axe.The cranium is one of several thousand artifacts found in a mass grave outside Visby on the island Gotland. All remains and objects found on the site stem from a battle between Gotlandic peasants and Danish mercenaries on 27 July 1361.

During the station’s heyday, the gas works spread over 14 acres. The complex included the Valve House; four large telescoping holding tanks, called “gasometers;” and a series of processing buildings, of which one remains today across Hamburg Street. The gas was manufactured, stored in the gasometers, and then piped into the valve house where it was compressed before being directed into the main lines of the city."

Today, this building is home to an architectural salvage company called [Housewerks](https://housewerkssalvage.com/pages/about-us). Since they purchased the building in 2005, they have worked to preserve the structure and have placed it on the National Register of Historic Places.

I made this model of Tyrannosaurus Rex based on its reconstruction seen in the 2022 documentary called Prehistoric Planet

This model uses as a base the Trex model from Jurassic World Evolution 2, it also uses as a base the texture made by the talented artist GameVideosForLife, I applied some modifications to the texture so that it looks more faithful to the original CGI model from the documentary.

It is rigged and has its textures in 4K quality.

I am the original creator of this model, from now on I will start uploading the rest of my models to sketchfab to prevent them from re-uploading it without crediting me.

Full name: **Seventeenth-century Italian hydria apothecary vase**

A hydria-type apothecary maiolica vase created in Savona (Italy) in the late 17th century. Handles in the shape of (fantastic) animal heads on massive bent necks. At the front, towards the bottom of the vase, a gargoyle in relief. Plugged with regular cork, its mouth doubles as an opening for pouring out the contents of the vase. Smaller gargoyles, without any openings, located under the handles, alongside the vase.

Exhibit from the collection of apothecary ceramics donated to the Museum in 1976 by Mateusz Bronisław Grabowski, a Polish-British, London-based pharmacist.

The archaeological ensemble of Melque is one of the most important historical sites of the High Middle Ages in Spain. It is located in the municipality of San Martín de Montalbán, just 30 kilometers from the city of Toledo. It consists of a very well preserved church, a monastery, several dams and a fence or wall. However, there is no consensus among experts about the date of its foundation. Some authors date it in the seventh century, in Visigothic times, while others consider that it was founded in the eighth century by Mozarabs, that is to say by Christians but under Muslim domination. The place was inhabited for centuries which has allowed the preservation of the church in an excellent state to this day.

Documented by Global Digital Heritage in September of 2018 using 1110 drone images, 112 terrestrial laser scans, and 1702 terrestrial photogrammetry images. These data were processed in Reality Capture.

Santa María de Melque (Toledo, Spain)

The Tōhoku earthquake (9.1 magnitude) hit Japan on March 11, 2011 for a duration of 5 minutes, and was followed by a tsunami which claimed the life of close to 16.000 people.  

The seismic events shown took place on that same day, between 01h41 and 23h59 (GMT). At 0.5X animation speed, 1 second of animation = 1 hour in real time.

The main earthquake happened at 05h46 (1:80 mark in the animation), and slowing down the animation speed to 0.1X or keeping manual control around this event should allow you to better understand the aftershocks propagation.
