This is not the original "La Danse" of Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux, but a copy by Jean Juge in the façade of Opera Garnier in Paris, while the original one is in Orsay Museum since 1988. There were models of "La Danse" in Sketchfab, like jks_rnr's one (https://skfb.ly/CAOJ) - the very same model in Opera, or Geoffrey Marchal's one from Copenhagen, Denmark  (https://skfb.ly/FzGu). Nevertheless, there is a pleasure to take photos myself. 65 photos of 24MPixel are taken in Sunday morning the July 26th, 2015 with my Sony A6000 and 19mm prime lens. I like to add some context, so there is pedestal and stair of the Opera.

Comparing to the model of  jks_rnr uploaded several months ago, there is one  thumb missing (for real) in a hand of a nymph, what's a pity.

"La Danse" in Opera House of Paris

This is a 3D model of “The Terme Boxer” attributed to Apollonius, and one of the few surviving bronze statues from the classical era. This muscular man is seated on a stone structure, wearing only boxing attire such as wraps for his hands and penis. The Terme Boxer represents a change in depicting heroic figures, from beautiful unburdened youth to a man beaten down by life yet still looking upwards, signaling changing virtues in the Mediterranean from purity to hardiness.

100.IG.11 Terme Boxer

Monument to the founder of the Soviet Union, the revolutionary leader Vladimir Lenin (1870-1924) was unveiled on 21 January 1952 in Tartu on a square in front of what was then the Estonian Agricultural Academy. This was also where a concrete statue of Lenin used to stand. The bronze Lenin stood on a granite base and the monument weighted almost four tones. The Estonian Defence League took it down in the early morning of 23 August 1990, on the 51st anniversary of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. A criminal case was brought against the people who took down the monument, but the city government decided not to put Lenin back in its old spot. For years, the statue stood in the yard of a waste disposal company. A plan by the Keila City Government to melt the bronze down and use the material to restore a statue of Martin Luther did not find support. The monument was brought to the Estonian History Museum in 2005.

Mickey Mouse is a cartoon character created in 1928 by The Walt Disney Company, who also serves as the brand's mascot. An anthropomorphic mouse who typically wears red shorts, large yellow shoes, and white gloves, Mickey is one of the world's most recognizable fictional characters.

Created as a replacement for a prior Disney character, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Mickey first appeared in the short Plane Crazy, debuting publicly in the short film Steamboat Willie (1928), one of the first sound cartoons. Mickey appeared primarily in short films, but also occasionally in feature-length films. Ten of Mickey's cartoons were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film, one of which, Lend a Paw, won the award in 1941.

Thonburi was a coastal defence ship ordered by the Thai navy, and built in Kawasaki Dockyard Japan, being launched on the 31st June 1937, and commissioned a year later. The ship displaced 2,350 tonnes and carried a set of 2x2 200mm Japanese guns, alongside a small arangement of self defence weapons. Her only enguagement was the battle of Ko Chang against the French light cruiser Lamotte Piquet, which resulted in Thonburi taking heavy damage before sinking. Eventually she was refloated and served until midd 1959 when she was decommissioned and partly turned into a museum ship at the Royal Thai Naval Academy.

PinSocc Ball W02

A four-string gusle – złóbcoki (gęśliki) – formerly the essential instrument of every highlander band. They were made of a single piece of wood. They have a navicular shape and a narrow resonating body with a neck. They terminate in a pin chamber with a head in the shape of a long-haired highlander’s head. The instrument was made of a piece of sycamore wood; the additions are made of ebony wood.
The gusle on display was made by Stanisław Czepiel (born in 1936) – the last luthier in the Pieniny region, a graduate of the Conductors School at the Academy of Music in Kraków, a musician and luthier.
