A collection of 282 (A.K.A more than you'll ever need) lowpoly people. Allright. Who cares. **Where is waldo?!**, that's the real question!

Automagically remeshing body scans to lowpoly assets (check out my growing collection of [free assets](https://skfb.ly/6yQSW)!), which can be used for archviz placeholders.

Each model has its origin located at its feet, so that placement in a scene is made easy. However, some refined scaling is probably needed as some children have become giants in the process...

Imported my old cathedral build and updated it with new blocks, new building techniques, and new surroundings. It was a self-challenge to see how realistic I can make it using only blocks/textures/techniques available in vanilla minecraft. The map was made on a 1.8 build server but packed & uploaded in 1.12.

Had to remove some features from the map during export due to technical difficulties, so it's better to check out the map ingame if you can. The lightmap res is pretty small for each block due to the number of blocks in the whole scene.

Expanded and finished my previous cambodian minecraft build, but can't find an easy way to export the modded blocks. So I tried using the photogrammetry method and made a point cloud scene with 64 ingame screenshots.

This was also my first time trying out photogrammetry, so sorry if the scan is bad. But I somehow really like the paintery effect atm

A mega-sized (may not be in correct scale) fantastic gothic style cathedral made entirely with Unreal Engine's BSP brushes converted to modular static meshes. It is merely a sketch/experiment and not very polished in some faces. I also reused some pieces with different scales so those parts may look deformed. The stone brick textures came from the 'Medieval Dungeon' free asset pack in the Epic Games Store.

# Process

* The initial mesh was remeshed to an intermediate object with Meshlab (quadric edge collapse decimation) and **mmgs** (6.8M -> 950k tris)
* Details (ropes and sword) were splitted from the horse body (mark sharp edges -> edge split -> separate), and batch remeshed for better results.
* The resulting meshes (70k tris total) were then manually unwrapped (+manifold edges seams) and merged.

# Material

The material was created from scratch on the high resolution object before being baked to 2K textures:

* Bronze patina on the top
* Mix of metals on the body
* Smoother metal on the edges

Equestrian statue of Napoleon

This was a PvP Arena I made for my friend's minecraft v1.11.2 server. Players could fly around with my custom command block jetpack mechanism in the arena (sneak ingame to activate). They could run accross the dragon skeleton and use the rib cages as cover. They could also hit the fireballs at the corner towers to send it flying to opponents.

&nbsp;

The overall style is based on the ruins in the game *Journey*, with a combination of the stepwell of *Chand Baori* from India, and *Egyptian temples*.

Build in minecraft v1.11.2 using default textures and worldedit plugin. Map cleanup with MCEdit. Model exported with Mineways. Uv unwrapped in Zbrush. Light, AO, and fog map baked in 3ds Max. Animated fireballs and clouds in 3ds Max.

The giraffe is an African artiodactyl mammal, the tallest living terrestrial animal and the largest ruminant. It is traditionally considered to be one species, Giraffa camelopardalis, with nine subspecies. However, the existence of up to nine extant giraffe species has been described, based upon research into the mitochondrial and nuclear DNA, as well as morphological measurements of Giraffa. Seven other prehistoric species, known from fossils, are extinct.

The giraffe has intrigued various cultures, both ancient and modern, for its peculiar appearance, and has often been featured in paintings, books, and cartoons. It is classified by the International Union for Conservation of Nature as vulnerable to extinction, and has been extirpated from many parts of its former range.

Giraffe

This skull is a composite reconstruction of the *Homo erectus* specimen recovered from the cave of Zhoukoudian near Beijing, China. Peking Man is an East Asian subspecies of *Homo erectus* that evolved into modern Han Chinese. This fossil was discovered in 1923 during excavations in Zhoukoudian cave system outside of Beijing. This skull is dated to around 750000 years old and represents an important lineage of humans, helping modern scientists explain the range expansion of *Homo erectus* and the modern human populations of China. Along with the skull, researchers also found evidence of tool usage and fire construction, which supports the idea that *Homo erectus* was the first hominid to use tools.

The Void Chelicerate is a subspecies of the striking red Chelicerate in other biomes of Sector Zero of 4546B. This subspecies has gotten much larger, more aggressive, and other changes. One of these changes is how the Void Chelicerate has these orange eyes and a pale white carapace, with patches of what seem to be scars, infected tissue, or something else of the sort. The mandibles are also more green than black, and the transparent fins are also light blue. They can be found in the Void that surrounds the entierity of Sector Zero, like the one at The Crater.

2011 BMW E92 M3 GTS

White Piranha (Serrasalmus Brandtii) Piranha science is not an exact science, some will say this is a different species, or subspecies, i get all info from the internet just like you and then make an educated guess. The White Piranha is a medium-sized species characterized by a pale, almost silvery-white body, I wonder when they got the name from. This coloration provides camouflage in sandy or lighter riverbeds, helping them avoid larger predators while gangstalking prey.

A Striped Silver Dollar Piranha (Myleus schomburgkii), or should i say false striped dollar piranha, it is the same fish. Piranha science is not an exact science, some will say this is a different species, or subspecies, some count 100 species, some dont if they cannot count that high, but i get all info from the internet just like you and then make an educated guess. Looking at this fish you can already see why they got the name they have, though i think the US should change the shape of the dollar to look more like the silhouette of the Striped Silver Dollar Piranha, oh well

A cousin and abberant subspecie of the Alpha Ripper, the Scorched Ripper is a six-legged version of the crimson xenohyena that roams the remnants of the Eryxian jungle. While most active during the Scorched Season, some individuals survive underground through normal cycles, posing a formidable threat in excavation tunnels, outpost building sites, and to mining drill parties.

When the suns of Eryxia reach their zenith and the jungle bursts into flame, most life either flees or perishes. The  Scorched Ripper does neither. Its reinforced carapace—its heat-resistant chitin and fused metallic growths—allows it to thrive in temperatures that would melt lesser flesh.

Xenohyena: Alpha Ripper Scorched [Concept]

Made a separate vanilla minecraft build using similar technique on making trees and plants from my previous [cambodian build](https://sketchfab.com/models/1af10bee0d374242a7bd29eb307c4d2c). Wanted to share this to show how detailed forest can be **without using any resourcepacks and mods**.

Used a lot of floating / combined plants for detailing. And also some biome coloring for green color variations (doesn't show on this preview, but ingame)
