As it appears to be a trend, a small WIP diorama ([Nice one here!](https://skfb.ly/6xvV6)) just to try out some lighting technique for an incoming model (not a WIP I hope).

The refractive "box" around the model is just eye-candy, what was really of interest to me was to get an idea about bubbles (spheres with an emissive material coupled with dithering transparency), sun rays (elongated planes with blending opacity and a light emission to them) and the ground lights (not done well here, but basically voronoi textures to simulate the effect of waves on the light, baked on the ground model).

The ground is a quick and ugly dyntopo sculpt done in blender, while the little fish are just a particle system set with a lowpoly mesh as render object.

A nice point to spend time on will be the ocean surface, to do with the appropriate modifier in blender, and a refractive/small-scale-roughness/foamy-at-the-edges material.

Plus, I should try to animate rays, bubbles and fish (as boids) to give it a living touch.

Things that I have noticed:

- Refracted objects can't be inside of other refracted objects. To get the water in the aquarium: I have the tank as a refracted object and a cube inside as the water that has its opacity reduced.
- For the bubbles, the one that seems to work the best is giving the bubbles Opacity + Bloom. I also really like how the purely Bloom bubbles glow; however, they are fully opaque (maybe a bit of both types?)
- For shadows, one needs to enable cats shadows, which seems to sadly mess with softness, but it is what it is. Furthermore, the perfect shadow bias value is 0.2132, this prevents shadow from acting strangely
- To get this lighting I had to bring the light quite close as the light's max strength is quite low this then made me have to increase the angle quite a lot. Increasing the angle starting introducing shadow grids, where one can clearly see the mesh polygons. (Looking from the other side of the window makes this extra apparent)

Concept & Objective
The goal of this project is to create a visualization of a mock product, "Iron Warrior Energy Drink", blending technical precision with bold branding aesthetics.

Creative Process
- Modeling: The bottle was constructed using polygonal modeling techniques, ensuring accurate proportions and clean topology suitable for both visualization and animation.

- Texturing & Shading: Materials were carefully developed to capture the glossy finish of the plastic, the transparency of the liquid, and the vibrancy of the red energy drink. Advanced shaders were used to simulate bubbles and internal reflections.

- Label Design: The label design is largely AI-generated using Gemini. However, further modificatiD surface, isualization styles were produced—realistic render, wireframe, and transparent render—to showcase different stages of the creative pipeline.

- 3D Software: Autodesk Maya for modeling and rendering
- Texturing: AI-Generated with modifications using Photoshop

I made my take on a Greydwarf Shaman from the Black Forest biome of the game Valheim. Like the Greyling, the Greydwarf, and The Elder, the Greydwarf Shaman is another tree-like creature. They are slightly larger than the basic Greydwarf, have antler-like branches protruding from the head, and sport a mossy beard. In addition, they have a green glow to their eyes. Apart from making it easier to differentiate between the tree beings in the game, the green glow also hints at the Shaman's move set. It has the ability to spray poison at an enemy, as well as heal other tree creatures nearby. I knew going into this sculpt, I wanted the full Greydwarf line to be cohesive. So, I tried to keep key features of the face, extremities, and even the rock on the back similar. For the Shaman, I wanted to make it feel more like an old worn wizard. I lowered the top of the head and brow ridge, as well as emphasized the bump on the bridge of the nose. For the pose, I started by adding simple shapes to move around until it felt dynamic and interesting. When sculpting wood and bark, I like to use the Move Brush with the cube selected. It helps to keep parts more rigid while defining the form. Alternateing between brushing on and carving away detail adds more depth to the textures. I like using a line alpha with the Standard Brush for this. I needed to add more polygons to get the detail of the wood texture to really come through, but didn't want to explode the file size. In the end, I was able to get some nice detail while still keeping a relatively low polygon count. I also had the idea to sculpt the poison magic the Greydwarf Shaman is able to summon. I wanted it to look like it's being pulled from the ground and swirling around to be thrown. For this, the Voxel Brush was the perfect tool. Painting the swirling shapes around the Shaman, then converting it to a Polymesh created the base shape for the magic effects. From here, I can use the brushes in Poly Mode to sculpt in the details. I chose to use the Move Brush with the sphere selected to push, pull, and twist the effects. Since it is poison magic, I used the Inflate Brush to add some bubbles here and there to really sell the look.

The Powerpuff Girls Relish Rampage - Bubbles

An unsettling amorphous creature made of constantly shifting black-green slime. The viscous body bubbles and reshapes itself, forming tentacles and pseudolimbs that allow it to sqerwise it remains a fluid, almost formless mass. Its glossy surface reflects light like liquid obsidian, giving it a sinister and alien presence. Instead of feeueeze through tight gaps and morph at will. Jagged mouths and scattered eyes appear only when the creature hunts, otht, semi-solid pseudolimbs form as it moves, hardening into temporary plates for traction or extending like springs for powerful jumps. Perfect for horror, sci-fi, or dark fantasy scenes.
