Robert Stephenson's 0-2-2 locomotive [Rocket](https://collection.sciencemuseum.org.uk/objects/co8084947/stephensons-rocket-steam-locomotive) from the [Science Museum Group Collection](http://collection.sciencemuseum.org.uk/).  

Manufactured in 1829 by Robert Stephenson and Company in Newcastle, close to today’s Newcastle Central railway station, Rocket won the famous [Rainhill Trials](https://www.railwaymuseum.org.uk/objects-and-stories/rocket-rainhill-and-rise-locomotive)  to become the fastest locomotive of its time thanks to its innovative design.

This 3D model of Rocket was produced using 22 high resolution LIDAR scans and over 2,500 detailed photographs taken in May 2018. An experiment for the [Haunted House challenge](https://blog.sketchfab.com/sketchfab-freeform-challenge-haunted-house/), based on a poster for the horror movie "the Cabin in the Woods".

Each piece of wall was extracted from nice 3D scans (mainly from @shapespeare ([this station](https://skfb.ly/KNz9)), @johngreenstone ([this cabin](https://skfb.ly/6yYDR) and [that one](https://skfb.ly/6yXRs)) and @Mario_Wallner ([prehistoric house](https://skfb.ly/6qJ6w))) and "normalized" to squares before being baked to a simple geometry for the house. The roof-part also comes from the prehistoric house scan.

But [this crow](https://skfb.ly/MJyr) from @cmp_innovation_studio is the real MVP...

The background image was made in GIMP, and lots of post-processing filters helped in giving the final look. This model was made to be a WIP, but I deleted some elements in the process, therefore making it "final"...

Practice for getting all UVs into 1 sheet for multiple models. Build time first row/initial row: 1-2 hours. Each row of models share 1 material set for everything. 2K PBR textures. All UVs automatic at angle 45 under 1 sheet, non-overlapping. Tris 4 all around 1700 & 848 Verts. Originally modeled in Quads. Textured in Substance Painter.

3D modelis sukurtas taikant CAD modeliavimo metodą, pritaikant mastelį ir užtikrinant tinkamumą 3D spausdinimui arba kitai adityviai gamybai. Modeliavimas ir geometrijos korekcija atlikti naudojant „Autodesk Revit“ ir „Undet“, o galutinė modelio patikra bei parengimas spausdinimui įgyvendinti programine įranga „Autodesk Netfabb“. Atliktas geometrijos tikslinimas ir topologijos optimizavimas, siekiant užtikrinti modelio vientisumą ir techninį tinkamumą. Modelis eksportuotas STL formatu, detalumo lygis – LOD200, mastelis 1:500, naudojama lokali koordinačių sistema (LOCAL_CS).

SVARBU: Šis turinys sukurtas iš pirminių (RAW) duomenų gautų įgyvendinant objektų 3D skaitmeninimą projekto „eKultūros platforma“ metu. Jarrita proveniente del Castillejo de los Güajares (Guajar Faragüit). Ha sido modelada a torno y con cocida en un ambiente oxidante. Morfologicamente presenta un borde exvasado con labio redondeado. El cuello es cilíndrico y ligeramente apuntado hacía el interior en el hombro. El cuerpo es piriforme con una base plana. Tiene dos asas que parten del cuerpo y se enganchan en la mitad del cuello. En cuanto a la decoración, presenta restos de pintura negra en el cuerpo.

Disco

Tinaja proveniente de la excavación del Castillejo de Los Güajares (Güajar Farauit). Presenta una tipología troncocónica con labio recto y borde exvasado ligeramente entrante, decorado con una cenefa de formas geométricas. El diámetro del borde son 20cm. El cuello presenta tres cenefas decorativas estampilladas separadas entre si. La primera y de mayor tamaño presenta como decoración motivos estampillados vegetales y la caracterísitca Mano de Fátima. Las otras dos cintas decorativas tienen motivos florales, cada uno de ellos en el interior de un motivo romboidal.
