Temples dedicated to Shiva, the Hindu lord of creation and destruction, are found throughout the Indian subcontinent. An essential element in any Shiva temple is the image of Nandi. It occupies an axial position, focusing the attention of the faithful from the outer halls of the temple directly into its spiritual heart, the ‘garbhagrha’ (‘womb chamber’).

Shiva Nataraja, Lord of the Dance

Barad-dûr, the “Dark Tower,” is a fictional place in J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth writings and is described in The Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion, and other works. It is an enormous fortress of the Dark Lord Sauron, whence he rules the volcanic and barren land of Mordor. Located in northwest Mordor, near Mount Doom, the Eye of Sauron keeps watch over Middle-earth from its highest tower. The name is pronounced "Ba'rad doorr" with emphasis placed on the "rr." The Lieutenant of Barad-dûr is the Mouth of Sauron, who acts as an ambassador and herald for Mordor and Sauron.

Barad-dûr was completed by Sauron in 1600 of the Second Age. It was destroyed following the victory of the Last Alliance of Elves and Men at the end of the age. Rebuilding began in the Third Age, 67 years before the War of the Ring. As the Dark Tower is held together by Sauron's magic, it collapses upon the destruction of the One Ring.

[Lanhoso Castle](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castle_of_Lanhoso) was an important line of defense, protecting Portugal against the influnce of the Kingdom of Leon (spanish kingdom). In the 12th century, Theresa Queen of Portugal was besieged in this castle, as she rebelled against her half sister. Portugal had vassalic ties with the crown of Leon. She lost the battle and Portugal remained a vassal state. She allied with noblemen of Galicia (another spanish kingdom) which displeased the Portugese court. Because of that she was later ordered to be imprisoned in the tower of the Lanhoso castle, by her son.  

From the castle, only the tower remains. The cause of this destruction was the great great grand father of the famous portugese general, saint constable, who burned the castle down, as he found out that his wife cheated on him there. The fire killed the lovers, servants and the life stocks. The castle was abonded as it lost its strategical importance.

Statue of Polybios at the entrance ramp of the parliament building in the 1st district of Vienna. The statue was made in 1899 by Alois Düll.

Polybios was an ancient Greek historian who became famous for his main work, the partially preserved Historíai. In it he describes in originally 40 books the universal history of Rome over the period from the beginning of the First Punic War to the destruction of Carthage and Corinth.

A massive, terrifying dragon with four enormous wings made of tattered, leathery skin, showing scars, tears, and battle damage. The body is muscular and menacing, exuding a sense of ancient evil and dark power. This dragon embodies darkness and destruction, perfect for boss battles, dark fantasy worlds, or apocalyptic environments. Its silhouette is imposing, wings spread wide, ready to dominate any scene.

Tycho’s Supernova – Stellar Explosion (3D Model)

This model represents Tycho’s Supernova, a famous stellar explosion observed in 1572 and studied by astronomer Tycho Brahe. It is classified as a Type Ia supernova, formed when a white dwarf star accumulated too much mass and violently detonated, releasing enormous amounts of energy into space.

The design focuses on capturing the intense power and beauty of this cosmic event through a radiant core, expanding shockwaves, and glowing plasma clouds. The goal was to visualize the moment of stellar destruction in a dramatic yet readable way, emphasizing motion, symmetry, and raw energy.

Tycho's Supernova: SN 1572

The DPV returns in Battlefield 4 in the expansion pack Second Assault. It now has a Mk19 automatic grenade launcher in place of its M2 Browning .50cal from Battlefield 3.

The DPV in Battlefield 4 is very similar to the one in Battlefield 3. The vehicle can have a driver, a gunner on the grenade launcher and a passenger who can use their kit. The car lacks any armor, resulting in the driver and crew to be exposed to small arms fire and above. As a trade off, the DPV is the fastest unarmored car in the game, beating even the Dirt Bike in terms of acceleration, top speed, and turning performance.

It should be noted that the grenade launcher has a limited arc of movement unlike the machine guns on other cars, thus only allowing a generally forward attack to be possible. To compensate for this, the explosive Mk19 has splash damage and gives the DPV Destruction capabilities unique amongst the other .50cal-armed light transports.
