The statue of Edward Snowden, called by its creators Prison Ship Martyrs' Monument 2.0, was an ephemeral, illegally-installed public statue of Edward Snowden, an American whistleblower who leaked classified information from the National Security Agency (NSA) and was charged with federal crimes as a result. The bronze-like statue was placed in Fort Greene Park in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, New York City, on April 6, 2015. It was attached to a Doric column on the perimeter of the park's Prison Ship Martyrs' Monument, a memorial and which honors more than 11,500 American prisoners of war who died in the American Revolution.

The statue was mounted by three anonymous artists and their helpers, who were dressed in white helmets and reflective vests of Parks Department workers, early in the morning of April 6, then covered and taken down by NYC Parks officials later that day.

3D scan of Franz Viehböck's Sokol space suit that he wore on his flight to the space station MIR. Franz Viehböck studied electronics engineering at the Vienna University of Technology, and became the first and as of today only Austrian Astronaut. On the 2nd of October, 1991, the Sojus-TM-13-rocket started in Baikonur (KAZ). The commander of the Austromir mission was the Russian Alexander Volkov and the third man was the Kazakh Toktar Aubakirov. 

The space suit is no longer exhibited at the Natural History Museum Vienna, but was on display from 2015–2021. It will be put on display at the Technical Museum Vienna. We want to thank Franz Viehböck for the opportunity to scan and present this piece of Austrian history!

Franz Viehböck's Sokol Space Suit

The Three Graces (1813-1814), Antonio Canova (?) (1757-1822), Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek (Copenhagen, Denmark). Made with Memento Beta (now ReMake) from AutoDesk.

The Three Graces, celebrated in classical literature and art, were the daughters of Jupiter (or Zeus in Greek mythology), and companions to the Muses. Thalia (youth and beauty) is accompanied by Euphrosyne (mirth), and Aglaia (elegance).It was commissioned from Antonio Canova by John Russel, 6th Duke of Bedford, who visited the sculptor in his studio in Rome in 1814, and was captivated by the group of the Three Graces which Canova had carved for the Empress Josephine, the estranged wife of Napoleon Bonaparte. She had died in May of that year, and the Duke offered to buy the group from Canova, but Josephine's son claimed it, and that version is now in the Hermitage, St Petersburg.

**Halloween 2022: Killer Clown V2**

**Generic back story:** No one knows her real name—only **Lira**. 

Raised in broken foster homes, her only keepsake was a worn deck of cards. The joker was her favorite.

As a teen, she found work at a dying circus and discovered an old poster of Balatro, a wild-eyed clown that embodied chaos. She painted her face to match and embraced the madness.

Her first kill was the ringmaster. The hammer fell, again and again. She laughed.

Now, she drifts from town to town, looking for new victims to target. Each scene ends the same: a blood-red joker card and a note—

**“Play again?”**

Killer Clown (Balatro Style)

A 3D model inspired by the The Vast Land / [A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wang_Ximeng),  by Wang ximeng, a painter of the Norther Song dynasnty, China. Painted in 1113, Wang Ximeng was only 18 years old when he painted the master piece. To the disappointment of everyone, including the artist Emperor Huizong, who personally taught him, Wang Ximeng died shortly after, depriving us of any further masterpieces. The painting is now in Palace Musuem Beijin, and was influiential for many generations to come!

The Vast Land

The Lion of Aspern is a war memorial created by Anton Dominik Fernkorn, which was erected in 1858 at Asperner Heldenplatz (today a district of Vienna). The sculpture is made of sandstone and commemorates the Austrian soldiers who died in the battle of Aspern.

Fernkorn created a larger-than-life sculpture of a lying, dying lion on a stone base with an oak leaf garland on a stone foundation. Between the front paws is a Napoleonic eagle, under the body an emperor's cloak, and on the left side of the body are field signs. The lion is pierced by a lance whose tip protrudes behind the left shoulder blade of the animal below the mane.

Arc de Triomphe, Paris

The Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile; lit. 'Triumphal Arch of the Star') is one of the most famous monuments in Paris, France, standing at the western end of the Champs-Élysées at the centre of Place Charles de Gaulle, formerly named Place de l'Étoile—the étoile or "star" of the juncture formed by its twelve radiating avenues. The location of the arc and the plaza is shared between three arrondissements, 16th (south and west), 17th (north), and 8th (east). The Arc de Triomphe honours those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars, with the names of all French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces. I ususally name my trains after people that I love.  One of them is named “Ready Brek” which was my brother’s nickname from when he was a child. He tradically died taking his own life on 4th July 2010. No family should have endure this devastating loss. No mother or father should have to bury their child in these circumstances. This helmet is part of a suit armour with similar decorative grooves as on the helmet’s skull.

This type of armour is often referred to as Maximilian armour (after the Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I). The bellows visor on the helmet is also characteristic of this type of armour.

It was thought, during the 19th century, that the helmet had belonged to King Johan I of Sweden (who died in 1222) but it was later revealed that the helmet had in fact been made in Germany around 1510.

Saint Peter (died between AD 64 and 68) was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ, and one of the first leaders of the early Church.

According to Christian tradition, Peter was crucified in Rome under Emperor Nero. He is traditionally counted as the first bishop of Rome‍—or pope‍—and also by Eastern Christian tradition as the first patriarch of Antioch.

Based on a photogrammetry model made in reality capture and texture changed with blending of free textures from poly haven, using quixel mixer tool.

San Pedro statue

This is a partial scan of the cemetary in Igualada, which was designed by Enric Miralles and Carme Pinos. Miralles himself died only a few years after the completion of the cemetary and is buried there.

The space captured is a kind of chapel that sits above the necropolis. It is adjacent to the cemetary's crematorium, which is now out of use.

The capture was assembled out of about a thousand photos taken with a Google Pixel 2 XL. The large gap in light levels between the exterior shots and the depths of the interior made this one difficult to capture well.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Raul's family and friends during this time of loss. May his legacy and creative spirit live on, inspiring generations to come.

In that year, the De Haar family received the castle and the surrounding lands as a fiefdom from Hendrik van Woerden. The castle remained in the ownership of the De Haar family until 1440, when the last male heir died childless. The castle then passed to the Van Zuylen family. *

De Haar Castle

A [Lamassu](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamassu) is a gaudian god typical of the mesopotamian region, shared between the Persians, Assyrians, Babylonians and in a form even egyptions. It usually gaurds the gates of the city, or the royal palace. 

There are several Lamassus in very good shape in Europe but all are assyrian or babylonian. Unfortunantly the only persian one (in Persepolis, gates of all nations) is quite damaged and some details are not cleared. To make this I took an Assyrian Lamassu as a base, studied the Persian one and made the adjustments. Some major difference are: The persian one is larger, the wings are bend, crown is different, and so is the front of the Lamassu.

Once upon a time customer wanted a water monster- a mix of octopus, praying mantis and a woman (yeah, I know). After concept phase and first, base mesh he went radio silent and entire thing died out. Now- I have recently found an old model and decided to give it a go, using 3dCoat. It is hardly optimized so it is only fair to make it free- just please, leave a comment if you are using it, it's all I am asking for.

This Forest Guardian helps the spirits of animals who have died cross over. She can sometimes be spotted in forests on clear nights, walking with the spirits resting in her feathers, and this is considered by some to be good luck!
