Avengers: Endgame is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is intended to be the direct sequel to 2018's Avengers: Infinity War, as well as a sequel to 2012's Marvel's The Avengers and 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron and the 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo with a screenplay by the writing team of Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely and features an ensemble cast with many actors from previous MCU films.

Avengers 4: End Game

The archaeological ensemble of Melque is one of the most important historical sites of the High Middle Ages in Spain. It is located in the municipality of San Martín de Montalbán, just 30 kilometers from the city of Toledo. It consists of a very well preserved church, a monastery, several dams and a fence or wall. However, there is no consensus among experts about the date of its foundation. Some authors date it in the seventh century, in Visigothic times, while others consider that it was founded in the eighth century by Mozarabs, that is to say by Christians but under Muslim domination. The place was inhabited for centuries which has allowed the preservation of the church in an excellent state to this day.

Documented by Global Digital Heritage in September of 2018 using 1110 drone images, 112 terrestrial laser scans, and 1702 terrestrial photogrammetry images. These data were processed in Reality Capture.

Santa María de Melque (Toledo, Spain)

The coffin ensemble of Taditjaina consists of an outer coffin (inventory no. 150a; approx. 76 x 193 x 73 cm) and an inner one (inventory no. 150b; approx. 43 x 173 x 48 cm). They are possibly from the Theban necropolis, and date back to the beginning of the 26th Dynasty (approx. 664–525 B.C.). Both coffins perfectly fit into one another. The two coffins and the mummy of lady Taditjaina were a gift to the Württembergian royal house from the German consul to Alexandria, Mr. von Dumreicher, between 1820 and 1830. They were later given to the University of Tübingen in 1911. The wooden coffins are white stuccoed, and have polychrome scenes, painted red, black, blue, dark green and yellow. The inscriptions of the coffins contain various scenes and texts from the ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead—a guide for the afterlife. The texts should guarantee the continued existence and provision of Taditjaina, the lady of the house, the noble one, in the Netherworld.

The Motherland Calls (Russian: Родина-мать зовёт!, tr. Rodina-mat' zovyot!, lit. 'Homeland-Mother Is Calling!') is the compositional centre of the monument-ensemble "Heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad" on Mamayev Kurgan in Volgograd, Russia. It was designed by sculptor Yevgeny Vuchetich and structural engineer Nikolai Nikitin, and declared the tallest statue in the world in 1967. At 85 m (279 ft), it is the tallest statue in Europe, the tallest outside of Asia and the tallest statue (excluding pedestals) of a woman in the world.

Ce costume d’Osiris, porté par Loti lors d’un bal costumé, reprend certains attributs courants du dieu égyptien : la couronne Atef, le pagne et le gorgerin, un assemblage de disques de métal porté à même la peau sur le torse.

In 1967, one of Europe’s largest monument complexes commemorating victims of Nazism was opened on the camp territory. The memorial creates a symbol of the border between life and death with a 100 metre-long concrete wall, on which is written  – “Beyond these gates the land groans”. There are also seven concrete sculptures: “Mother”, “The Unbroken”, “The humuliated”, “Protest”, “Red Front”, “Solidarity”,“The Oath”. The Salaspils Memorial Ensemble is part of Latvia’s cultural canon. An exhibition is constructed at the gates of the monument. Sculptors Ļ. Bukovskis, O. Skarainis, J. Zariņš; architects – G. Gateway to the University of Applied Arts Vienna as part of the Heiligenkreuzerhof. The Heiligenkreuzerhof is a courtyard ensemble in the center of Vienna. It is located between Schönlaterngasse and Grashofgasse and is today surrounded by a complex of the monastery courtyard, prelature, chapel and apartment building. The Heiligenkreuzerhof is often referred to as the oldest apartment house in Vienna. It was built in the 12th/13th century and has belonged to the Cistercian monastery of Heiligenkreuz since that time. The medieval cellar vaults still date from this time. In 1587 stonemasonry work was carried out by Italian masters. However, a large part of the courtyard, the chapel and the prelate's courtyard were demolished in the Baroque period and rebuilt by order of the abbots of Heiligenkreuz Monastery from 1659 to 1676. The courtyard got its present appearance only after further reconstructions in 1769-1771, from which time the facades also date.

Heiligenkreuzerhof

The Indrica Catholic Church, located near the Daugava River , is the oldest extant wooden church in Latgale. Constructed between 1655–1658 and 1698 , it remains the oldest wooden structure in Latvia not rebuilt since the 17th century. This Baroque three-aisle hall-type log building features a polygonal apse and horizontal plank cladding. The facade is marked by a three-stage tower with a bell-shaped roof. Internally, a high degree of authenticity is preserved, including a rich wood-carved altar from the Stelmužė school and a crypt housing the Counts Plater family burials. The ensemble includes a fieldstone masonry fence and a unique three-stage bell tower. Despite a 1989 fire, the structure is in satisfactory condition following roof reconstruction. Current maintenance needs include addressing paint delamination and cleaning gutters from larch needle accumulation.

The Indrica Catholic Church

The statue of St. Paul stands on the historic parish steps on Berggasse in Mistelbach and is one of the small Baroque monuments at the entrance to St. Martin’s Parish Church on the Kirchberg. The steps have been an important access point to the church for centuries and were renovated in 1724. As part of this Baroque redesign, two figures of apostles were erected: St. Peter and St. Paul. The ensemble of steps and figures is now a listed historic monument.

The statue of St. Paul displays the apostle’s typical attributes. In his hand, he holds a sword, symbolizing his martyrdom in Rome, as well as a book, which refers to his letters in the New Testament.

The statue was created in the 18th century by the sculptor Johann Martin Fischer. His works are characterized by lively movement, richly detailed robes, and expressive faces.
