Notes: RLA catalog no. 2501.1rp74 (cast).  Fossil discovered in 1959 by Mary Leakey and described by P. Tobias.  Represented the first reliable chronometric assessment of an early hominid.  Nearly complete cranium, called "Zinj."  Cast made by the Wenner-Gren Foundation Casting Program at the University Museum of the University of Pennsylvania. Fiberglass Mold Texture

"Look behind you!" – this title is a nod to the legendary humor of The Secret of Monkey Island. I wanted to capture the adventure vibes of that game and Disney’s Treasure Planet through a restricted color palette. My focus was the contrast between the dim daylight hitting the lower deck and the warm glow of the torch and lamp.

The base was a real labor of love. While the mini is FDM printed, I built the ship using balsa wood, Epoxy Sculpt, and "Apply Scale" furniture, with "c0nt4ctu5" tentacles snaking up from the depths. That’s why you get a direct view into the deck below. The project turned into a total sprint when I realized halfway through that the contest only lasts two weeks! It was full turbo mode to get the lighting and ship details finished in time. Hopefully, Valdeer takes the warning seriously before his fate catches up with him!
