Single Root

Umbreon is a mammalian Pokémon which has a sleek, black body with four slender legs and crimson eyes. It has two pairs of pointed teeth (one pair in each jaw) which are visible when its mouth is open. It has long, pointed ears and a bushy tail, each with a yellow band around them. Its forehead and legs have yellow rings on them.

Umbreon's evolution is the result of Eevee being exposed to the moonlight, which altered its genetic structure. Umbreon's yellow rings glow when it is excited, such as when it leaps to attack; or when exposed to the moon's aura, which fills it with a mysterious energy. Umbreon hunts at night and, as such, has well-developed eyes that can spot a prey even in darkness. Its black fur helps it blend into the night while waiting for the right moment to pounce. When it does, its rings emit a dim yet ominous glow, and it lunges for the prey's throat before eating.

Iron padlock from roman villa of S. Cucufate, Alentejo, Portugal. Similar specimens exist in other areas from the second century BC to the fourth century AD. This exemplar, however, may correspond to a much later model, and may date from the post-Roman period. This specimen presents 8 cm in height  and 5,8 cm in long. Currently it is exposed in the permanent exhibition of the museum of S. Cucufate (Vila de Frades, Vidigueira). Catalog No. CUC. 84 XV A 7 (2). Cadeado Roman lock Cucufate, Portugal

Concept from a 2D illustration that I painted in VR for my Honours project at university. Original by a Japanese artist I cannot track down. This was my first attempt at designing scenes and painting them in VR.

The harsh light from the sun above creates the drastic shadows and contrast of colours. Super dark blues for the shadows that give off an extreme version of the cold shadow havens from the beaming sunlight that will most likely burn anyone who gets exposed to it.

Beach Bay

A large humanoid creature with clearly defined ape anatomy, built massive and heavily muscular. The chest, shoulders, and arms are extremely powerful, with arms noticeably longer than the legs. Large hands with long fingers and curved claws emphasize its raw strength, while shorter but stable legs and wide, gripping feet give it a grounded, aggressive stance. The ape-like head features a strong jaw, broad nose, deep-set eyes, and prominent sharp teeth with extended canines. Dense dark fur covers most of the body, rough and unkempt along the back and shoulders, while exposed skin on the face, chest, hands, and feet appears leathery and worn. Primitive armor made from bone, wood, and leather protects the shoulders and forearms, with a crude belt or fur cloth around the waist. The posture is hunched forward, ready to attack, radiating a savage and battle-hardened presence.

Brutal Primal Ape Warrior

A terrifying flying horse demon with a faceless skull-like head and an exposed skeletal structure. The body is thin, bony, and unnatural, with visible ribs and stretched limbs that give it a disturbing, undead appearance. Large wings extend from its back, built from bone and torn membranes, allowing the creature to hover silently through the air. The absence of a face enhances the horror, making the creature feel soulless and cursed. Its posture is aggressive yet controlled, as if it is an ancient demon bound to the skies, perfect for dark fantasy, horror scenes, or hellish environments.

Flying Faceless Horse Skeleton

A massive, skeletal horror creature standing on all fours, built with an elongated, bone-thin body and a completely faceless head. The monster features enormous broken wings made of exposed bone and torn, leather-like membrane, giving it an ancient and cursed appearance. Its posture is low and predatory, emphasizing raw strength and dread rather than speed. The overall design feels dark, unnatural, and disturbing, making it well suited for horror scenes, dark fantasy worlds, or creature-focused projects.

Faceless Bonewing Horror Beast

A massive, bulky creature inspired by an oversized turtle, redesigned with monstrous proportions and a threatening presence. The thick shell is rough, broken, and uneven, covered with spikes and sharp protrusions that give it a heavily armored look. Its head is broad and powerful, featuring strong jaws filled with sharp teeth, while small, pale or faintly glowing eyes add to its intimidating expression. Arms and legs are short, thick, and muscular, ending in heavy claws capable of digging into the ground or striking as weapons. A short, thick tail with additional spikes reinforces its brutal design. Wrinkled, leathery skin with small spiked scales covers the exposed areas, making the creature feel ancient, slow, but immensely powerful.

Giant Armored Turtle Monster

The M1161 ITV is the American counterpart to the Chinese LYT2021 and the Russian VDV Buggy. It can be found at US deployments, as well as flags controlled by the Americans. The M1161 is resistant to small arms fire, but the crew are largely exposed due to the lack of a windshield and doors -- however, the vehicle itself is vulnerable to anti-tank weaponry and explosives. If the vehicle drives into a static object at sufficient speed, the vehicle can catch fire and suffer significant damage.

The vehicle has space for three players: a driver who controls the vehicle, a gunner who operates the rear mounted M2 Browning machine gun, and a passenger who can use his primary weapon and equipment.

Battlefield 4 - M1161 ITV

This wire sculpture by British artist Richard Stainthorp showcases his signature ability to turn industrial materials into expressive human forms. Composed of tightly wound black and white wires, the reclining figure captures anatomical detail with surprising nuance: the curve of the torso, the tension in the limbs, the quiet balance of a body at rest. Stainthorp has worked with wire since the mid‑1990s, developing a technique that emphasizes emotion through posture rather than facial expression. In this piece, the relaxed, grounded pose suggests contemplation and ease, while the layered wirework reveals the underlying structure like exposed musculature. Mutant | Creature Monster | Unity & UnReal

The DPV returns in Battlefield 4 in the expansion pack Second Assault. It now has a Mk19 automatic grenade launcher in place of its M2 Browning .50cal from Battlefield 3.

The DPV in Battlefield 4 is very similar to the one in Battlefield 3. The vehicle can have a driver, a gunner on the grenade launcher and a passenger who can use their kit. The car lacks any armor, resulting in the driver and crew to be exposed to small arms fire and above. As a trade off, the DPV is the fastest unarmored car in the game, beating even the Dirt Bike in terms of acceleration, top speed, and turning performance.

It should be noted that the grenade launcher has a limited arc of movement unlike the machine guns on other cars, thus only allowing a generally forward attack to be possible. To compensate for this, the explosive Mk19 has splash damage and gives the DPV Destruction capabilities unique amongst the other .50cal-armed light transports.

Battlefield 4 - Desert Patrol Vehicle

It can be found at CN deployments, as well as flags controlled by the Chinese.
