Robert Stephenson's 0-2-2 locomotive [Rocket](https://collection.sciencemuseum.org.uk/objects/co8084947/stephensons-rocket-steam-locomotive) from the [Science Museum Group Collection](http://collection.sciencemuseum.org.uk/).  

Manufactured in 1829 by Robert Stephenson and Company in Newcastle, close to today’s Newcastle Central railway station, Rocket won the famous [Rainhill Trials](https://www.railwaymuseum.org.uk/objects-and-stories/rocket-rainhill-and-rise-locomotive)  to become the fastest locomotive of its time thanks to its innovative design.

This 3D model of Rocket was produced using 22 high resolution LIDAR scans and over 2,500 detailed photographs taken in May 2018. World Trade Center is the original complex that once stood in New York from the start of construction in 1966 groundbreaking, until they were destroyed on September 11, 2001. The complex was opened to public on April 4, 1974; although some buildings were not built or completed yet at the time. It consisted of 7 buildings, the famous being were the twin towers that were once the world's tallest buildings for only 2 years when they were surpassed by Willis (Sears) Tower. Of course, these twin towers ended the Empire State Building's 40 year reign. The old 7 World Trade Center was the last building to be built in that complex, which was built in 1987 and the last building to fall on 9/11 about 7 hours after the North Tower (tower with antenna) fell. The North Tower (1 WTC) was 1,368 feet tall and 1,728 feet with the antenna, while the South Tower (2 WTC) was 1,362 feet tall. They were very famous and appeared in many movie films, they were also an icon of New York City.

Negotiator '80 - Low poly model

The most famous of the Govan stones, the sarcophagus represents a rare monument type in early medieval Scotland prior to the 12th century AD. It was rediscovered in the churchyard by a gravedigger in 1856 and was moved into the church in 1908. It is decorated with a hunting scene, different arrangements of interlaced beasts, and six panels of interlace, some of which appear to be interlaced snakes. It is not known what the lid might have looked like, but two complete drainage holes in the base of the monument (and the worn surfaces surrounding them) suggest that the sarcophagus originally acted as a coffin for the remains of a royal saint, but later functioned as a reliquary.

Inspired by a best 1967 Taiwanese film, "Dragon Gate Inn". The whole plot is a variant of "a guy walks into a bar". As a sandstorm threatens and drives most travellers away, a few groups driven by different agendas are determined to stay in the desert at the famous Dragons Gate Inn. Amidst rumors of an ancient city and with Zhao Huai'an and the leader of the West Bureau approaching, events are about to unfold with the Dragons Gate Inn as the stage for an all out clash.

Zalipie, a village in southern Poland, is most famous for its folk art. Local artists have been covering houses in traditional floral motifs, a custom with roots back in the 18th century, when housekeepers would lighten sooty interiors of their huts by covering them with limewash. Through the 19th century the practice evolved into a habit of decorating cottages - both on the inside and on the outside - with colorful painted ornaments. The tradition has been kept up in the 20th century by dedicated artists like Felicja Curyłowa (1904-1974) and - thanks to her and her followers - to this day we can admire unique local art, and house painting contests are still held to support this live tradition. The 3D model was created based on one of the oldest, finest examples of a Zalipie painted house.

Greek Slave became the most famous sculpture of the nineteenth century and propelled the artist, Hiram Powers (1805-73), to international stardom. The work was so provocatively lifelike that certain exhibition venues in the United States required that men and women view the sculpture separately. Powers justified the sculpture's full nudity by claiming his work depicted historic events: a Greek woman, captured by Ottoman forces during the War of Independence, had been stripped and chained for sale at a slave market in Constantinople. American viewers in the 1840s and '50s, many of whom had never before seen a sculpture of a nude woman, felt licensed to admire the Greek Slave because she was "clothed all over with sentiment."
