Star Wars: Gozanti-Class Cruiser

Another personal project to improve my hard surface skills and learn some new techniques. After a long-standing debate between me and a few of my friends, if the falcon can actually be called a cargo ship (when all the interior space we were shown is full of benches, chessboards and capes), I tried to build what a cargo ship in this class could actually look like. What I came up with is the YTS-27 light freighter. I imagined this ship as a Joint Venture between Latero Spaceworks and the Corellian Engineering Corporation, taking design clues from the praying Mantis from Jedi: Fallen Order and corellian vessels like the CR90 and, of course, the Millennium Falcon. This particular YTS-27 light freighter was named after its first owner, a Kowakian monkey-lizard, who was barely smart enough to "maneuver" it off the landing pad. After extensive repairs and a good cleaning of the cockpit, it now has a far more capable pilot.

Star Wars: YT-2400 Light Freighter

The YT-1300 is a portalized object (POB) ship available to Freelance Pilots. Certification for piloting a YT of this class is granted at Freelancer Ace Pilot. A stock light freighter, the YT-1300 is an adaptable, all-purpose, cargo transport built on a modular design. Off the assembly line, a YT-1300 is a fairly standard vessel, with rudimentary engine, communications, and life-support systems. However, the vessel’s appeal is the fact that it can be upgraded with great ease. In fact, Corellian Engineering Corporation has earned a small fortune selling conversion kits. The most popular modification is an enhanced hyperdrive package, although many pilots also outfit the craft with military-grade weapons, long-range sensor suites, and powerful deflector shields. Han Solo’s Millennium Falcon is the most infamous (and most heavily-modified) YT-1300 in existence

The crew was able to escape unharmed as the vessel's cockpit was able to separate from the main part of the craft, doubling as an escape pod."

What if the YT-2400 had the front end of the YT-1300?  This would give the smaller freighter the cargo loading and hauling capabilities of the larger YT-1300.  That's what this design is.

A Fan-Made Star Wars-Inspired original ship design.  
  
  Lore: After the end of the Clone Wars and with the Rise of the Empire, the Trade Federation commissioned a small fleet of light freighters to haul cargo.   While they had fleets of ships that had been converted to warships, the Empire banned the use of Droids at the scale that had been the Trade Federations doctrine for decades.  As a result, they found themselves with few organics that could crew their larger starships.  These were created as a stop-gap to both haul cargo and train crews to be able to operate their larger ships.

Fan Lore: The NX-13 class was a courier designed by Corellian Engineering Corporation as a smaller version of the YT-1300 and to answer an Imperial need for a courer.  The design was not selected, but it was a moderate success on the Freighter market.  One such example, *Celestial Fire*, was modified as an electronic surveilance and attack platform.

A combination of the YT-1300 and the YT-2400, the YT-1850 combines the fuselage and offset cockpit of the YT-2400 with the mandibles and forward section of the YT-1300.
