This particular model is the *930* generation built in West Germany between 1975 and 1989, a *Turbo* version with a 3.0 liter air-cooled, turbocharged engine.

Game-ready high quality asset (200k triangles) + ClearCoat (40k triangles)

The model was made in a Mid-poly workflow, which handles shading by averaged geometry normals, instead of normal mapping and is easy to optimize by removing divisions, while maintaining the same mesh topology.
It requires more polygons, however it's resistant to normal map compression (it doesn't need one, or a flat-shaded one is used), also producing smooth reflections if done properly.
A ClearCoat mesh was used to achieve a metallic paint effect on the bodywork - not obligatory.

Imported my old cathedral build and updated it with new blocks, new building techniques, and new surroundings. It was a self-challenge to see how realistic I can make it using only blocks/textures/techniques available in vanilla minecraft. The map was made on a 1.8 build server but packed & uploaded in 1.12.

Had to remove some features from the map during export due to technical difficulties, so it's better to check out the map ingame if you can. The lightmap res is pretty small for each block due to the number of blocks in the whole scene.

A highway interchange scenery in New York, Little Dominican Republic made using Blender 3.3.2. 

This had been one of my older projects which I havent visted for a while, so I've dedicated some time refurbishing up this particular section for public use (yes I'm feeling extremely generous). The file size is pretty hefty so source files and textures are all included in a single folder - just be sure to extract zip file into a folder. 

Also quick side note, I haven't been able to find some time to finish the middle bridge (Alexander Hamilton Bridge) so maybe I can update that in the forseeable future.

Friday Night Funkin' - Mods

Tyrannosaurus rex was one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs that ever lived. Everything about this ferocious predator, from its thick, heavy skull to its 4-foot-long (1.2-meter-long) jaw, was designed for maximum bone-crushing action.

This particular replica of T-REX's skeleton is on display in Knuthenborg Safaripark, Denmark. 

The photogrammetric capture has been done spontaneously, as a part of recreational visit to the park. 
Due to other participants of the visit not 'feeling for' photogrammetric capture, it had to be done extra-fast, resulting in a single 'loop' of photographs.

In Virgil, Laocoön was a priest of Poseidon who was killed with both his sons after attempting to expose the ruse of the Trojan Horse by striking it with a spear. In Sophocles, on the other hand, he was a priest of Apollo, who should have been celibate but had married.

This particular sculpture was made by the unknown artist and is a copy of the original work. 

3D scanned using photogrammetry in Hans Tausens Park in Copenhagen. Capturing of the scupture was done by 4 people/4 cameras by jointly dancing around the sculpture.

 Reconstructed in Reality Capture from about 1000 images.

Drift Race Track Free

Trying out some remeshing scipts in blender/python on body scans! These ones come from the collection [Codame Labs] from @codame - all licensed under CC-attribution. As usual, feel free to re-use for nearly anything, and go check [my growing collection of free assets](https://skfb.ly/6yQSW) ;)

Each model is made of 1500 triangles, and has its origin located on the ground plane. Obviously, scans with multiple people have a lower precision.

I removed the textures to keep the faces as flat shaded, as this is the step I'm currently thinking about: geometry.
In particular, how to keep the characters nose - otherwise the face feels too flat - while remeshing in my (automated) workflow.

This could be done by specifying, with just one manual intervention (but not automated anymore!), the face as a zone of higher resolution and giving this input as a metric to [mmgs](http://mmgtools.org). Will think about it...

More to come soon as I make progress and if I feel inspired!

WIP - Lowpoly People - 1

This is a 3D Model of Kindred, from League of Legends, created from the ground up, this model is based on the game, but taking some liberties like having a more "realistic" body, but still trying to have the same type of feeling as the game.

It contains 2 posible versions, one for Rigging and the other one 3D Printing. All for Free! This model is part of a yearly collection of 3D Fan Characters I'm doing, this is part of Month 5 of said collection, if you want to check out the timelapse of this model or even see the other characters I'll be making, you can do so in my social media!

Kindred (League of Legends) - Rigged

I tried making 3D model based on some artwork again.

This character is from a card deck-building turn-based Rpg game called "Library of Ruina" that I was playing

This model is very different than what I usually do, Because it's a male character, has proper body proportion, and It also has kind of a water/paint texture style unlike cel shading I usually do, So it's quite difficult to try making the 3D model accurate.


The result? Well, not as good as I had hoped, 
For some reason, I just can't make his face looks correct no matter how hard I am tired. I'm unfamiliar with this body type so I'm probably unable to plan properly.

“Technical difficulties”

Simplified geometric head block out to use as a drawing reference. Particularly useful for learning perspective angles of the head. 

Intended for traditional and conceptual 2d artists. Memorise the basic head structure from any angle. Combine it with the loomis head and asaro head.

3D Scan of Godzilla toy from NECA, based on Legendary Pictures' 2019 *Godzilla: King of the Monsters* and part of the Monsterverse.

5/21/2020: Re-Uploaded with updated Texture.

3D scanned in color with the Artec Space Spider 3D scanner. Total time spent 3D scanning: 5 minutes. After scanning in initial position standing upright on turntable, the figure was flipped on its left and right sides to capture under the tail and feet. 

Total time processing in Artec Studio software: about 3 hours. This articulated figure was rigid during flipping, however the tail segments moved slightly. In order to preserve this detail and fix the movement in post, the raw data was duplicated and individual tail segments were isolated so they could independelty be repositioned relative to the initial upright scan.

Godzilla 2019 Figurine 3D Scan

This Stegosaurus skeleton from the Denver Museum of Nature & Science is more than 26 feet long and over nine feet tall. The bony beast is a permanent display with steel shaped around it, welded in place, and puttied together, making it impossible to take apart. Which means it was super difficult to scan! Triebold Paleontology, Inc. scanned the dinosaur using Artec Space Spider and Artec Studio software. The scanning involved crawling into the rib cage, then perching atop a step ladder just to reach the peaks of the big fan-shaped plates on the dinosaur’s back. The scanner captured everything from the nose to the tail spikes. Beyond aligning the scans, Artec Studio also reduced the mesh size to the desired level for manipulating the 3D model and 3D printing. Scanning time: 1 week - Processing time: 2 months (629 individual scans across 71 scan projects).

A variant of the US's main battle tank of WWII, This particular one saw action during the Korean War in the 1950s.

The Holy Lavra of Saint Sabbas the Sanctified, known in Arabic as Mar Saba  is an Eastern Orthodox Christian monastery overlooking the Kidron Valley at a point halfway between the Old City of Jerusalem and the Dead Sea, within the Bethlehem Governorate of the West Bank.
The traditional date for the founding of the monastery by Sabbas the Sanctified of Mutalaska, Cappadocia is the year 483. Today, the complex houses around 20 monks. It is considered to be one of the oldest inhabited monasteries in the world, and still maintains many of its ancient traditions. One in particular is the restriction on women entering the main compound. The only building that women can enter is the Women's Tower, near the main entrance.

Mar Saba Monastery  -RAWscan

The legendary Ichiraku ramen shop from the Naruto Anime.

This was by far my most difficult model to date, and challenged all of my 3D art skills. The model is based almost entirely off of one blurry reference photo, so I had to improvise on the entire back end of the building.
10/10 do not recommend :D

This shape made of 12 regular pentagons is possibly the least often see of the platonic solids and the most difficult to construct for me personally, but awesome software like Wings3D can make it possible to see what this looks like.
