The paleogeographic maps in the PaleoAtlas illustrate the ancient configuration of the ocean basins and continents, as well as important topographic and bathymetric features such as mountains, lowlands, shallow sea, continental shelves, and deep oceans.
The paleoatlas consists of 91 paleogeographic maps spanning the late Neoproterozoic (~750 Ma) and Phanerozoic (present-day, 0 Ma).

PaleoMap - Paleogeographic Maps

This is a simple model made in 1h 30mins to illustrate how to create distant background elements easily. The model only uses a single shot from Studio Ghibli's film Porco Rosso.

The technical quality of the model is quite bad, and it looks awful if viewed from different angles or from close up. However, the main point is that you dont need good topology or create every single model into perfection just for a simple background element. This looks pleasant from a distance, and it only took 1:30 hours to make, so there's that.

Hotel Adriano - 1h 30min speed model

This is a 3D model of a replica of the leaning tower of Pisa! This famous torre illustrates the most popular and characteristic monument of Pisa and I got it as a souvenir, when I visited Italy. This 3D model is a project built within the course of “Digitization Technologies, Techniques and Applications”. Leaning Tower of Pisa, alternatively “Italian Torre Pendente di Pisa” is a medieval freestanding bell tower, of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa, famous for the settling of its foundations, which caused it to lean 5.5 degrees (about 15 feet [4.5 metres]) from the perpendicular in the late 20th century. Extensive work was subsequently done to straighten the tower, and its lean was ultimately reduced to less than 4.0 degrees. The tower is included in the Piazza del Duomo UNESCO World Heritage Site, which was declared in 1987. Today, it is one of the most touristic attractions in Italy and a great site to take creative pictures.

Portal (First experiment)

I made this model after seeing Dani Wootton's excellent '5 Fascinating Finds' video on the Time Team channel https://youtu.be/m-Z1uM9DMRI

This model illustrates Dani's description of how Roman pottery was mass produced using a mould with decorations pressed into the mould surface.  Click on the annotations on the model for more information.

In researching this model I visited the British Museum in London to get a closer look at the 'punches' that were used to create the decorative indentations in the mould surface.  I felt sure the surface of the punch must be curved to follow the contour of the mould but wasn't sure if the curve was more pronounced so that the punch would be rocked back and forwards when being pressed into the clay.  The example I saw at the British Museum (Ancient Rome room - display case 26 - see below) showed a punch with a figure on it and a slight convex curve which I think would have matched the surface of the mould.

The Sacrification Church of Pyhämaa was built in 1642-1650. It’s one of the oldest still existing wooden churches in Finland. The inner walls are decorated with paintings from the 17th century by Christian Willbrandt. They illustrate biblical events.

Model includes 4x8k diffuse maps, so remember to switch the SD texture to HD from the cog in lower right corner or download the model.

Sacrification Church of Pyhämaa

This 3D model represents the heart and lungs of a rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus), created with a focus on anatomical accuracy and educational clarity. The model demonstrates the close anatomical relationship between the cardiovascular and respiratory systems in a small mammal.

The heart shows realistic external morphology, including atrial and ventricular regions, while the lungs display correct lobation, size, and positioning relative to the heart. Together, these organs help illustrate how oxygenated blood circulation and respiration are functionally connected in mammals.

Rabbit Lungs

Zander (Sander lucioperca), perfect to be held in an aquarium, though once it reaches 22cm and eats 5 goldfish a day, better make sure you have a few of those ready and steady, which illustrates the only problem i had with my pet Glasoog, which therefore had to be released in the wild. The only other things to remember are that it highly depends on the right type of water, and will attack anything that enters the aquarium.

Zander (Sander lucioperca)

The Peugeot 103 is a moped launched in France in 1971. More powerful, comfortable, and more expensive than the 102, which it didn't exactly replace, it was positioned a cut above in every respect, including price.
The Peugeot 103 has a 49cc two-stroke engine for AC (air-cooled) models (bore x stroke: 40 x 39 mm) and a 49.13cc engine for LC (liquid-cooled) models (bore x stroke: 40 x 39.1 mm). It is restricted to 45 km/h, allowing it to be ridden without a license.
But this particular model is a 90cc customized by Jeremy GHb, a member of the MobChop Génération group.

This model represents a digital utility access interface, focusing on clarity, minimal interaction steps, and trust-driven design. The structure reflects a typical workflow where users input a single identifier to retrieve billing information, emphasizing ease of use and accessibility across devices. The clean panel layout, input field, and action button are intentionally minimal to highlight functionality over decoration.

Designed as a UI/UX and civic-tech concept, this model can be used for interface visualization, educational demonstrations, digital service presentations, or technology-focused design showcases. It illustrates how thoughtful digital systems can simplify routine yet critical public-service tasks while maintaining reliability and user confidence.

Falsework Structural Support System – Guardhouse Construction

This 3D model represents a falsework structural support system used for slab construction inside a guardhouse structure. The model illustrates a temporary support framework designed to carry the load of freshly cast concrete slabs and beams during the construction phase.

The structure consists of a modular system of vertical posts, horizontal bracing, and adjustable supports that ensure stability and proper load distribution throughout the casting process. Timber beams are placed at the top of the support system to transfer loads from the formwork to the ground.

This model is suitable for construction visualization, civil engineering studies, structural demonstrations, and educational purposes. It accurately represents temporary works commonly used in reinforced concrete construction.

Jim Steranko (born in 1938 in Pennsylvania) was one of the most influential creators of the Silver Age of comics, known for revolutionizing Marvel with his work on Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., incorporating pop art, surrealism, and visual techniques drawn from cinema and advertising. Yet another fun model four our scifi environment in Unity 5. The shelves pop out to help illustrate a disheveled state of things.

Despite it being several hundred years in the future, I imagine people might still keep written logs. You never know when there's going to be a power outage or an EMP shockwave to make things more interesting.

Filing Cabinets

In the early Middle Ages, there was an important ecclesiastical center of the Great Moravian Empire directly below Bratislava Castle. The so-called Great Moravian Basilica was built in the 9th century, when Bratislava played a central role in politics and the church as an important center of power and administration. The basilica was a representative sacred building that probably served as the main church of a fortified area. 

Today, none of the basilica's towering walls remain, but its foundations and floor plans, the remains of walls, and traces of other buildings, including a smaller church and an ossuary from the 11th to 12th centuries, are still visible. These remains have been made visible below the castle through archaeological reconstructions and ground markings. Colored stone settings illustrate the different construction phases and building types, enabling visitors to understand the structure of the early medieval complex.

The relief depicted on the surrounding wall of the Calvary Church in Köszeg most likely represents a scene from Christ's Way of the Cross. At the center is Jesus Christ, recognizable by the halo around his head, in a posture of fatigue and quiet resignation. He is surrounded by several figures who can be interpreted as Roman soldiers or pursuers, driving him on or harassing him. The animated postures, the sometimes aggressive gestures, and the deeply cut folds of the garments lend the scene a strong dramatic tension and vividly illustrate the suffering of Christ. The richly curved Baroque frame with volutes and ornamental decoration highlights the depiction like a picture field and refers to its devotional function. In conjunction with the other reliefs arranged along the wall, the work is clearly to be understood as part of a closed-ended Way of the Cross on Calvary, which was intended for processions and personal meditation.
