The Great Drawing Room has the most sumptuous interior in the house. It was a setting for entertaining, music and dancing. The room is inspired by the magnificent [Baroque](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baroque) style of the late 17th century. This style provided a suitable opulent backdrop for big parties.

Cyber Samurai

This 3D data of Kokura Castle was made using photogrammetry. This is Avatta's first attempt in using drones to make high quality 3D architectural scan. We have photographed over 1500 images from all directions and the data was processed using Agisoft Photoscan. 

Kokura Castle of Kitakyushu, Japan was built by Hosokawa Tadaoki in 1602. It was the property of the Ogasawara clan (from Harima) between 1632 and 1860. The castle was burnt down in 1866 in the war between the Kokura and Chōshū clans.

Mori Ogai was based at the castle at the turn of the 19th-20th century when it was a military base.
The keep was reconstructed in 1959, and the castle was fully restored in 1990. The Matsumoto Seicho museum and castle garden were opened in 1998. The old Japanese-style pre-Brunton lighthouse from Shirasu is in the castle grounds.

Kokura Castle

I decided to make this model to see how much could the 3d work looks like the 2d sketch.I think the fact of can't work on it continuously had a bad influence on the final result and it could be more accurate. Anyway I think the final result is not too bad.

On festive occasions the gentlemen sat here after dinner, smoking cigars and talking. On regular days, however, this was the family sitting room, where they gathered to drink coffee and play board games in the evenings.

The smoking room is inspired by the [Orient](https://goo.gl/pDNk9v). It was common in the late 19th century to decorate with oriental features and the room is typical for the ideals of the time. The style is associated with [colonialism](https://goo.gl/epxUNw) and militarism and was therefore considered to be appropriate for a room for gentlemen. The walls are clad in silk which was meant to give the room a feeling of an officer's tent.

This was intended as a room for socialising for gentlemen. Those who did not participate in the game could watch from the wall-mounted bench.

The Billiards Room, like [The Dining Room](https://skfb.ly/6uLDI), is done in  a style between [Renaissance](https://goo.gl/9XS59E) and early [Baroque](https://goo.gl/BVsvH2). Note that the windows in both rooms are made up from round antique [lights that have been framed in lead](https://goo.gl/G86YdL).

The Billiards Room

This is the Picture Gallery located on the top floor of the [Hallwyl Museum](http://hallwylskamuseet.se/en) in Stockholm, Sweden.

Countess Wilhelmina von Hallwyl was a keen collector of Dutch and Flemish artworks of the Golden Age.

 
The diversity of artists and motifs is representative of the Hallwyl House Collection of Dutch and Flemish masters. The collection constitutes a kind of encyclopedia of the [Golden Age of Dutch Art](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_Golden_Age_painting).

"See For Yourself" was the catchphrase of the Golden Age.

In this room Wilhelmina received callers and attended to her correspondence, something that was an important part of a family's networking.

It was common to display family portraits in this type of room. There are portraits of the Hallwyl daughters, great grandchildren and sons-in-law.

On some computers the flame color will not display like i have adjusted it. I think that's some kind of gpu display problem.
My current gpu: GeForce GTX 780M

The paper explores the concept of letting surgical stuff train in a virtual operating setting.
This is one of several general ORs in the Charité Campus Mitte (CCM), scanned in 2018. Shot with Nikon D3400 (500 images), reconstructed in Metashape, refined in Blender.

Back with another one of my NPR journey milestones.

This is the Character of the Monk class from a rather obscure dungeon crawler game series called "Etrian odyssey" I really love the art style of the Character sprite so I decided to attempt to imitate its art style.

This model took me the longest to make yet, simply because I have to learn a lot of new stuff this time and the rigging is more detailed (I used rigify). I also tried to lower my polygon count as much as I can while still making the character looks good and ended up with around 20k polygon (around 10k if no outline) big improvement from 70k+ I had before.

[Etrian Odyssey 3] Monk

Assorted city props. Models are between 400 and 8000 triangles. Most models are PBR and include diffuse, occlusion roughness metallic, emissive, normal, (alpha/opacity if needed) maps.

City Props Collection volume 1

In Virgil, Laocoön was a priest of Poseidon who was killed with both his sons after attempting to expose the ruse of the Trojan Horse by striking it with a spear. In Sophocles, on the other hand, he was a priest of Apollo, who should have been celibate but had married.

This particular sculpture was made by the unknown artist and is a copy of the original work. 

3D scanned using photogrammetry in Hans Tausens Park in Copenhagen. Capturing of the scupture was done by 4 people/4 cameras by jointly dancing around the sculpture.

 Reconstructed in Reality Capture from about 1000 images.

Saw this on a highway driving through Nevada, so I HAD to capture it.

**Plane**
In what must have seemed like a good idea at the time, the owners of the brothel promoted an interesting challenge with a very naughty prize. A mattress would be placed in the center of a large star painted on the desert floor—if one were to parachute out of an airplane (airplane provided) and land on the mattress, they would be the lucky winner of a night with the lady of his choice, on the house!

Unsurprisingly, things went horribly wrong. Long story short, scantily-clad women plus distracted, inexperienced pilot plus heavy cross winds equal the plane plummeting straight into the ground. Luckily no one was hurt in the accident, and the clever owners decided that the wreck was enough of a spectacle to attract people from the road, so there it stayed - https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/angel-s-ladies-brothel

322 images shot with a Mavic Pro 2. Reconstructed with Reality Capture

Testing out some fake volumetric based on C++ generated noise images...

This does not look really impressive so far, but the technique seems to work fine and I guess that further experiments could only make for some future nicer models !

Note that using transparency planes (3 x 225 in this case!) is quite resource-intensive, and the model might only work fine on desktop.

XYZ School Coursework: HighPoly Porsche Singer

This was my first project I did on Blender knowing only basic tools.
It takes some reference from various low poly images/reference I could find on the net.
Texturing was made with a single image of a color wheel + another texture for signs.
Not optimized.
