My Very Own Christmas Styled Disney 2006 Model.

Scanned in just 25 minutes with the metrology-grade laser scanner Artec Point, the transmission's fine elements are all captured in this high-res 3D replica. The complex combination of components, from the gear sets to the shifting mechanism, is vividly displayed. 

Despite the transmission's shiny and reflective metallic cast and challenging surface roughness, Artec Point's advanced scanning technology captured all of it. The resulting point cloud was optimized for precision, even with a 0.2mm resolution. For future scans of similarly sized objects, we recommend a resolution of at least 0.4mm to reduce processing time.

This model is ideal for reverse engineering, quality inspection, industrial design, rapid prototyping, and beyond. Zoom in and rotate to take a closer look and experience the power of Artec Point's ultra high-resolution scanning technology.

We carried out the inspection by drone of the facades and roofs of a courtyard in Paris.

One of the catacombs entries. Convenient entries like this one are pretty rare, and usually locked (being only used by the police and the Geological Inspection Dept (*Inspection Générale des Carrières*).

Most of the catacombs galleries in the *Grand Reseau Nord* are about 60 ft beneath the surface, though there are galleries that run even deeper (down to 90 ft deep).

1993 BMW M3 Coupe (E36)

High-detail 3D scan of an aluminum mountain bike front fork, created for accurate geometry reference and reverse engineering workflows.

The side surfaces have been automatically closed, and openings are present around the center section. These areas were intentionally left unmodeled, as they were not required for the reverse engineering of the specific fork component this scan was created for.

This approach ensures an efficient and clean dataset while preserving all critical geometric features needed for analysis, inspection, and downstream engineering use.

A stoneware jug from the Edgefield Pottery Collection. This is a chicken watering jug, which was filled by holding the handle at the top and dunking the entire jug into a water source. The jug would then be filled with water, and ready for chickens to drink from the resivoir at the bottom.

A cream riser from the Edgefield Pottery Collection. A Cream Riser, also known as a Clabber Bowl, typically had a handle with gently sloping sides which formed an opening slightly larger than the base. The straight sides that slope up and out allowed the cream to separate from the milk. While the larger opening allowed the user to easily skim the cream off the top before transferring the cream to a churn to make butter.
