**Modeling**:

* The scan was first remeshed with [mmgs](mmgtools.org) and baked to a lighter version (11k tris). 
* The amber fragment was roughly sculpted in blender ("I have no clue what I'm doing" style), keeping the main face flat (clay strips + flatten brushes).
* The small fragments inside the amber were done by splitting all the main fragment edges and applying the "shrink/fatten" tool, followed by a random Displace modifier. Exterior fragments were then removed with a boolean modifier.

**Material**:

The important parts are the roughness and normal maps, which are a mix of PBR textures (rougher edges, smoother main face), while the refractivity is just a product of tweaking Sketchfab settings: opacity set to refractive and using the object's roughness.

The BMW E30 is the second generation of BMW 3 Series, which was produced from 1982 to 1994 and replaced the E21 3 Series. The model range included 2-door coupe and convertible body styles, as well as being the first 3 Series to be produced in 4-door sedan and wagon/estate body styles. It was powered by four-cylinder petrol, six-cylinder petrol and six-cylinder diesel engines, the latter a first for the 3 Series. The E30 325iX model was the first BMW to have all-wheel drive.

The first BMW M3 model was built on the E30 platform and was powered by the high-revving BMW S14 four-cylinder petrol engine, which produced 175 kW (235 bhp) in its final iteration. The BMW Z1 roadster was also based on the E30 platform. Following the launch of the E36 3 Series in 1990, the E30 began to be phased out.

Gary[2] Wilson Jr.[3] is a snail owned by SpongeBob SquarePants. He is Patrick Star's first cousin.[4] He resides in a pineapple house on 124 Conch Street, Bikini Bottom, Pacific Ocean with his owner, SpongeBob.

He is a domesticated house pet with similar mannerisms to a cat, most notably his "meow," but has royal blood, as seen in the episode "Rule of Dumb." In the latter, the royal family tree proves that Gary and Patrick are cousins, as their fathers were brothers. His mannerism and affinity for the finer things in life in previous episodes foreshadows his royal blood, with the only exception being his dislike for baths.

The only regret I have is its body won't change with scaling, which is an oversight I didn't know I need before weighting.

As it is a rather simple model, I've decided not to charge it, if I work on a more complex model latter then I might.

Overall it was fun, a breath of fresh air.

A Hussar szyszak was a type of helmet commonly used by the troops of the Polish Hussars, similar to the pappenheimers used in Western Europe. Usually, it was decorated similarly to the Hussar armour – with trimmings and appliqué motifs of brass stamped with geometrical ornaments. There were a few variants of this helmet: with a tip on the top, a high crest, or fan-like wings on the skull (the latter was popular in the 1st half of the 18th century, during the Saxon’s reign).

Hussar helmet

Cuween Hill Chambered Cairn, near Finstown, Mainland, Orkney, is a late Neolithic (c.3200-2300 BC) 'Maes Howe'-type tomb.  The tomb is located on the side of the hill and the floor is cut into sandstone bedrock.  The chambers are constructed from fine dry-stone walling with corbelled roofs.  The mound measures c.55 feet in diameter and the main chamber is 8 feet 6 inches tall.

The tomb was partly excavated by James Cursiter in 1888 and more extensively investigated by Malcolm M. Charleston in 1901.  The tomb contained at least 8 burials and the skulls of 24 dogs.  The latter may have been a totemic animal, but they were probably deposited in the Bronze Age rather than the Neolithic.  The tomb sites above the Neolithic settlement site of Stonehall, which was excavated by Prof Colin Richards in the 1990s.

I've been interested in modeling a bird for a while, and *holy hell* is it harder than I thought. But! Along the way I learned more about retopology and how to bake normals (even if this wasn't the best time to try the latter haha) and I feel like I was successful enough here!

Day 20 - Snowy Owl

Salvatierra Castle is located in the municipality of Calzada de Calatrava (Ciudad Real, Spain). Its period of greatest historical prominence focuses between the battles of Alarcos (1195) and Las Navas de Tolosa (1212), playing a decisive role as a preamble of the latter. Between 1198 and 1211 the Order of Calatrava installed its convent headquarters in this fortress and was consolidated as the Order of Salvatierra. In 1226 it was definitely abandoned when its last Muslim defenders handed it over to Christians in the context of Las Navas pacts. Since 1992, it has been part of the Cultural Interest Assets (BIC) catalog of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha. Despite its advanced state of ruin, it still retains part of the donjon, numerous barrel vaults and large walled spaces that acted as albacar and barbican.

It is a model of a small copy that I found on a tourist market in Bejing

Ding were prehistoric and ancient Chinese cauldrons, standing upon legs with a lid and two facing handles. They are one of the most important shapes used in Chinese ritual bronzes. They were made in two shapes: round vessels with three legs and rectangular ones with four, the latter often called fanding. They were used for cooking, storage, and ritual offerings to the gods or to ancestors.

Fantasy Low Poly Island - Challenge 2021

I modeled mini version of dalaran from warcraft. It was a pretty great challange for me. In the begining I was planning to texturing whole scene with basic color palatte but I changed my mind. During this challange I learned lots of great things about baking and I believe I really pushed my baking and detaling sculpting skills really well =).

Firstly I modeled block out version in blender after that I turned that blockout to two different version. One of them is low poly with unwrapped uv and another one is high poly version with smooth geometry. After that I sculpted model details to high poly version in zbrush like cracks, noises etc. After sculpting I used mostly marmoset for baking models. In the end I combined bake maps with low poly models in substance painter and thats all =).

With an output of 260 kW (354 hp) and 500 Nm (368.8 lb-ft) of torque, the latter from 1,470 to 4,500 rpm, the turbocharged, 3.0 TFSI accelerates the open-top four-seater from 0 to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) in 5.1 seconds. Its sound is discrete and sonorous, never intrusive.

2020 Audi S5 Cabriolet TFSI

The Ferrari SF-25 is a Formula One racing car designed and constructed by Scuderia Ferrari which competed in the 2025 Formula One World Championship. It was driven by Charles Leclerc and seven-time World Drivers' Champion Lewis Hamilton, the latter in his first season racing for Ferrari. The first Ferrari car since the Ferrari SF21 of 2021 to not score a Grand Prix win, the SF-25 scored one sprint win (at China), seven podiums, one pole position and two fastest laps.

Despite significant issues in its concept, the SF-25 managed for the first time in Formula One history to achieve a record of 14 consecutive races without a DNF. Leclerc also completed the season (24 races) without any mechanical failures or component-related penalties, making it arguably the most reliable Formula One car of the ground-effect regulations era.
