MechaGodzilla 2021

In one of those “out there” news items, Call of Duty: Warzone may soon be getting a visit from the likes of Godzilla and King Kong. According to Xfire, Activision is potentially planning on having the King Kong and Godzilla arrive for events in Warzone later this year, in addition to “more spectacular global in-game events” planned.

Xfire states that they were provided with images from a now-deleted Twitter account. Among the images were “King Kong swatting a WW2 plane out of the sky whilst soldiers aimed rifles at him in the distance” and “Godzilla destroying troops below with a bright blue beam”.

Granted, these images were concept art, but the noteworthy aspect of these images was that they were alongside Warzone Season 2 images. Season 2 of Warzone kicked off on February 14th, if you’re wondering

This incarnation of Mechagodzilla was briefly seen in Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters and made its debut as Mechagodzilla City in Godzilla: City On The Edge of Battle. This model is pretty old and therefore isn't up to my current modeling standards but I think it still holds up relatively well. My personal favorite Mechagodzilla design.

Mechagodzilla is my favorite Godzilla monster of all time and I wanted to do something for him for his 50th anniversary. Seeing as we only had like three Showa Mechagodzilla models, I took it upon myself to make one of my own. However, I decided to make a variant rather than the real deal since I thought it would be fun. The model shown before you is a model of his design in some artwork for the 1998 Ps1 Game, "Godzilla: Trading Battle", which gives him a more "modernized" look. Big thanks to ViolisModels for helping me out with his textures.

Yes, the crown is removeable from the model, and you can even put it onto any other model of your choice.

This is the Real Godzilla appearing back when he looked different from 1954, altough similar, until his design kept changing until he looks like this now in 3 more movies in the 70's, and also a show called Zone Fighter. Model from MMDCharizard and Snake151, and once again I did not ask them for the models because i'm a dumb lazy piece of crap. Godzilla is from Toho Co. Ltd.

This incarnation of Mechagodzilla was briefly seen during after the end credits of Godzilla Singular Point. Unfortunately, a Season 2 is never happening and so we have no idea what Robogodzilla fully looks like so I had to take some educated guesses on what he could theoretically fully look like. I also took some minor liberties here and there. Definitely one of my favorite MG designs.
