Hungry Jack's is an Australian fast food franchise of Burger King founded by Jack Cowin in 1971.
The retail owns and operates all of the Burger King/Hungry Jack's restaurants in Australia.
When Burger King expanded into Australia an Adelaide restaurant was already called Burger King.
Unable to use the US name Jack Cowin decided to name his fast food chain Hungry Jack's instead.

The brand now has more than 420 restaurants serving every major population centre in the country.

This ancestor was a great migrator. Some populations migrated to Europe, where they gave Homo neanderthalis; while those who remained in Africa have evolved into Modern Men (Homo sapiens). This period delivered wooden hunting weapons that were machined with good sharp stone tools. This implies a society that begins to structure itself to make the tools, the weapons, to process the slaughtered animals.

Homo Heidelbergensis

This skull is a composite reconstruction of the *Homo erectus* specimen recovered from the cave of Zhoukoudian near Beijing, China. Peking Man is an East Asian subspecies of *Homo erectus* that evolved into modern Han Chinese. This fossil was discovered in 1923 during excavations in Zhoukoudian cave system outside of Beijing. This skull is dated to around 750000 years old and represents an important lineage of humans, helping modern scientists explain the range expansion of *Homo erectus* and the modern human populations of China. Along with the skull, researchers also found evidence of tool usage and fire construction, which supports the idea that *Homo erectus* was the first hominid to use tools.

The ancient Mayan city of Tikal is located deep in the heart of Guatemala's El Petén rain forest, within Tikal National Park. The ancient city, covering an area greater than 16 sq km (6.2 sq mi), is the largest known ancient Maya city-complex dating to the Classic period. It is estimated to have had a peak population of 100,000 to 200,000 with an urban density of 600 to 700 people per square kilometer. During the Classic Maya period from 200 to 850 CE, Tikal flourished, becoming the preeminent political, economic, and military power in the region. At least 33 rulers oversaw the construction of numerous monuments, many of which remain to be uncovered.

Sable Antelope (Low Poly)

Le Condor des Andes, *Vultur gryphus* (Linné, 1758), rapace charognard, est le plus grand oiseau terrestre de l’hémisphère ouest. Ce vautour fut vénéré par les peuples incas et des fêtes lui sont encore consacrées. Sa silhouette imposante lui a valu de figurer sur de nombreux symboles nationaux des pays andins et il continu d’inspirer les hommes en tant qu’animal puissant capable d’atteindre les plus hautes cimes. Malheureusement, aujourd’hui, la population de condors des Andes est en décroissance continuelle.

Ce spécimen mâle, a été collecté en Patagonie, en 1831, par Alcide Dessalines d’Orbigny (1802-1857). Aujourd’hui ce condor est conservé au Muséum d’histoire naturelle de La Rochelle, ville où le naturaliste vécut son enfance.

Condor des Andes mâle

3D scan of a taxidermized Beluga or European Sturgeon (*Huso huso*). The primeval bony fish was common in the Black See and migrated upstream every year to lay eggs. In the Danube River it was observed up to 2,500 kilometers upstream from the estuary; its main spawning ground was in Hungary. The female’s roe is very valuable and is seen as a delicacy. That is why wild populations have been greatly reduced due to overfishing. 

This specimen can not be found in the exhibition of the NHM Vienna, but a  very similar specimen of the Beluga Sturgeon is Number 63 of the NHM Top 100 and can be found in Hall 25 of the NHM Vienna.

No Parking Lowpoly Modular Sign Pack

3D scan of a black swan (*Cygnus atratus*), a large bird which is native to Australia and Tasmania. Fully grown black swans can be up to about 1.40 meters long and weigh up to 9 kilograms.

In Austria the black swan is an alien species which breeds irregularly elsewhere. In Vienna a breeding population with up to 170 individuals became extinct in the late nineties.

The exhibited specimen has been donated to the NHM Vienna in 1921 by the “Tiergarten Schönbrunn”.

This black swan can be found in Hall 30 of the Natural History Museum Vienna.

The grizzly bear, also known as the North American brown bear or simply grizzly, is a population or subspecies of the brown bear inhabiting North America. In addition to the mainland grizzly, other forms of brown bear are sometimes identified as grizzly bears.

The whole of Rock 18 is covered in engravings, but this central area holds the greatest concentration, where a number of characteristic forms known as 'huts' occur.

Some of these contain certain realistic features: a central post, a supporting plinth and a roof with projecting beams.

The huts, which are a feature typical of the Camunian area, have been interpreted in various ways: initially as images of real structures such as houses, warehouses (grain stores) and temples.   More recently it has been suggested that they are imaginary places, probably sacred and connected with the afterlife (with cinerary urns from Tuscany & Lazio providing a comparison).   

My own thoughts are that they represent real structures as they occur in village scenes with people and animals around them. The population had to occupy some sort of structures and no other types of dwelling occur on the corpus of engravings in Valcamonica.

Between the huts are warrior figures, goblets, animals, an inverted bird and an inscription.

A small rock with an isolated figure of a 'hut.' The hut figures are generally less common on the western side of the valley than the east (Naquane, Foppe di Nadro etc.) but there are nevertheless many such depiction here in Seradina and close by in Bedolina.

Valcamonica, Seradina 2 - Rock 17

Researchers have announced the classification of a new arboreal dwelling organism, *Quercifolium domus sylvana*, commonly called the “Elf Treehouse.” First identified in 2025 during an ecological survey in the Cascadian temperate rainforest, the structure appears to be a living fusion of tree tissue and engineered architecture. Its curved roof plates are composed of a flexible cellulose‑rich sheath, while the interior cavity forms naturally.

Botanists believe the species coevolved with a diminutive forest‑dwelling humanoid population long dismissed as folklore. Evidence of intentional cultivation, vegetable rows, soil conditioning, and micro‑irrigation channels, suggests a long‑standing partnership between elves and the host organism.

The discovery challenges assumptions about plant intelligence and raises profound questions about interspecies engineering. If similar structures are found elsewhere, *Q. domus sylvana* could redefine our understanding of the hidden complexity of forest ecosystems.

Haytor, also known as Haytor Rocks, Hay Tor, or occasionally Hey Tor, is a granite tor on the eastern edge of Dartmoor in the English county of Devon.
The tor is at grid reference SX757770, near the village of Haytor Vale in the parish of Ilsington. There is an electoral ward with the same name. The population at the 2011 census is 2,862. Haytor has the form of a typical "avenue" tor, where the granite between the two main outcrops has been eroded away. Its characteristic shape is a notable landmark visible on the skyline from many places in south Devon between Exeter and Totnes.
