This is a 3D animation of a Southern Right Whale (Eubalaena australis, Panel C, Fig. 1) which was reconstructed using the open source software Blender 3D (blender.org). Measurements taken from drone videos of right whales (see Christensen et al. 2019) were used to create an ellipsoid that served as a basis for the model. The measurements for height and width of the whale were taken at increments of 5% of the total body length. Reference photos were also used as a guide to create taxonomic features onto the ellipsoid using Blender 3D sculpting tools (primarily the dynamic topology function). These features included the fluke, pectoral fins, eye, and mouth arrangements.

Model 55A - Southern Right Whale

The most famous of the Govan stones, the sarcophagus represents a rare monument type in early medieval Scotland prior to the 12th century AD. It was rediscovered in the churchyard by a gravedigger in 1856 and was moved into the church in 1908. It is decorated with a hunting scene, different arrangements of interlaced beasts, and six panels of interlace, some of which appear to be interlaced snakes. It is not known what the lid might have looked like, but two complete drainage holes in the base of the monument (and the worn surfaces surrounding them) suggest that the sarcophagus originally acted as a coffin for the remains of a royal saint, but later functioned as a reliquary.

Download the gltf file and import it into Unreal - tick the 'combine mesh' box for the whole scene as one static mesh, or untick this box if you want to use the elements of the model in another arrangement. Model made in Zbrush - UVs using Rizom UV and colour and texture using Substance Painter.

I have used a bit of artistic license with regards to the statues - in ancient Rome they would probably have been painted - to look more life-like!  - But I prefer the natural stone effect!

I started this model a 2 month ago and learned a lot from it . For me it was the uv arrangement and the baking process which was most tedious , you should preplane well in terms of time usuage.I did basic texturing in Substance painter and little bit tweaking in photoshop. But in the end it was all worth it.

Environment Pack - Egypt Map

Allée couverte du Bois-Couturier, a megalithic tomb located in Guiry-en-Vexin, France was discovered in 1915 by an agricultural worker. This ancient tomb is buried in the hillside overlooking the Aubette valley at an altitude of 132 meters. Facing south/ southeast, the burial chamber measures 7 meters long and 2 meters wide. The antechamber is short and wide measuring 1 meter by 1.85 meters. The walls, constructed of horizontal layers of limestone plates, measure 1.30 meters high. The arrangement of the limestone slabs of the roof have been disturbed, and their current position is a result of restoration.

This model was created from FARO Focus S70 scan data and processed in Reality Capture software.

Fountain basin with Muse Erato in Baden near Vienna. This fountain with the lyre-playing Muse Erato is located on Theaterplatz. The figure from 1902 was designed by Josef Valentin Kassin and stood until 1973 in a flower arrangement in front of the theater. Then followed the transformation into a fountain.

Erato is one of the nine muses in Greek mythology. She is the muse of love poetry of lyricism, song and dance. She is a daughter of Zeus and Mnemosyne.

30 preserved wooden heads adorn the ceiling of the Envoys’ Room of the Wawel Royal Castle. The current arrangement of this ceiling is a creation from the beginning of the 20th century. The only source of information about its original appearance is the contract concluded with Master Sebastian Tauerbach in 1535. The contract mentions 194 carved heads and 194 rosettes, which the master was commissioned to fashion. There are no clues as to how they were to be arranged. The first ceiling burned down in 1540. It is not known whether the preserved heads were made before the fire – thus belonging to the original decoration – but there was no time to mount them, or whether they were carved after the fire and intended for rebuilding the Envoys’ Room.The heads preserved to this day are only a small percentage of the original ceiling decoration, hence the interpretation of its ideological message is difficult to decipher.

Thonburi was a coastal defence ship ordered by the Thai navy, and built in Kawasaki Dockyard Japan, being launched on the 31st June 1937, and commissioned a year later. The ship displaced 2,350 tonnes and carried a set of 2x2 200mm Japanese guns, alongside a small arangement of self defence weapons. Her only enguagement was the battle of Ko Chang against the French light cruiser Lamotte Piquet, which resulted in Thonburi taking heavy damage before sinking. Eventually she was refloated and served until midd 1959 when she was decommissioned and partly turned into a museum ship at the Royal Thai Naval Academy.

This marble sculpture presents Hecate in one of her most distinctive ancient forms: not as a single standing goddess, but as three joined female figures arranged around a central axis. The image is calm, symmetrical, and highly controlled, yet its subject belongs to a world of thresholds, night, spirits, and divine protection. Rather than showing three separate women with different identities, the sculpture repeats the same goddess three times, creating a form that allows her to face outward in multiple directions at once. A redone version of my American singal corperation Tempest 135 air raid siren.

So apparently I saw this photo from a video of someone's t135 in a backyard and the entier 'flower' or horn arangement is cut in half for this futuristic metal 'block' that takes all 8 horns and routes them directly to the chopper compared to the t-128

This siren is capable of 133.5 decibels at 100 feet and is the older brother to the ASC T1128

This silver brooch has a gold-plated surface. The brooch stands out due to its rich decoration, expressed through the dense arrangement of seven small buttons around the edge of the semicircular head plate and its intricate design. There is an animal head at the base of the brooch. The head plate, sides of the bow and base plate are all elaborately carved. Niello-decorated strips outline the contours.
