Elle s’inscrit dans la tradition de diffusion des images de l’empereur et sa famille divinisée, puissant outil de romanisation des Provinces. Fabriquées en série par moulage dans l’Allier et exportées par trafic fluvial, ces figurines en terre cuite blanche diffusaient, tout comme les monnaies, les coiffures à la mode à Rome.

Romani wagon 2

The costume of the Banjara people, consisting of over a dozen elements, comes from the village of Hampi in India, in the state of Karnataka. It was brought to Poland and resold to the District Museum in Tarnów in 2001 by an ethnology student (supervised by Prof. Lech Mróz, PhD habilitated) of the University of Warsaw, who conducted field research among nomadic peoples in India. The costume is displayed on a mannequin as part of the permanent exhibition Romani People: History and Culture, which has been presented at the Ethnographic Museum in Tarnów since 1990.

Banjara costume

The presented object is a trzos belt – a wide leather belt with a pocket for storing money and documents. It was made in the 2nd half of the 20th century by a Romani saddler near the Romanian city of Brasov (Braşov in Romanian).
The belt was made of a double-folded strip of leather; at the upper edge there is an additional narrow pleat. It is fastened with 4 metal buckles, through which short straps with punched leather eyelets are threaded (5 in each strap). The end of each strap can be additionally fixed by threading it through a belt loop in a vertical leather belt (7 cm wide) attached to the trzos belt with 3 pairs of brass rivets.

CocosCAPI model (Escape From CocosCAPI)

Female statuette-vessel, modeled without a head. The silhouette is notable for the massiveness of the upper half of the body. The thin arms preserve the proportion of the vessel's handles. The palms, with the five fingers in a non-anatomical position, have been exaggerated in size to have a larger surface area for the base of the handles to grip the vessel's body. The incised decoration, consisting of concentric circles, triangles and other figurative elements arranged in the anatomical-functional parts of the human body, symbolizes fecundity, fertility and the practice of solar worship.
The statuette is unique among similar Neolithic pieces in Europe. For conservation reasons, the statuette is not exhibited in the museum's main exhibition, being in danger of destruction due to its fragility and age.

The statuette dates back to the Neolithic, Gumelnița culture, around 5000 BC.
Place of discovery: Ilfov county, Vidra commune, Vidra, Vidra Tell.

Apparatus portrait of King Carol I, head and bust in military tunic with military decorations, including the Order of the Crown of Romania. The artist choose for a contrast between the king's face, modeled in detail, while the tunic and cloak are treated synthetically, with ample surfaces on which the medals can be distinguished. The sculpture was interpreted probably after a photograph. Signed and dated on the back left: Fr. Storck Bucharest 1900.

King Carol I of Romania by Frederic Storck

This bust depicts Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino, one of Romania’s most influential political figures of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, known as “Nababul” for his immense wealth and social standing. Sculpted in 1906 by Vasile Chiriachide, the work exemplifies the refined academic realism characteristic of Romanian sculpture from the period.

Cantacuzino is portrayed in a richly detailed military‑style ceremonial uniform, complete with medals, decorations, and a sash that emphasizes his status and authority. His posture is upright and dignified, projecting confidence and gravitas. The sculptor pays particular attention to the facial features—strong cheekbones, a pronounced mustache, and a composed, forward‑looking gaze—capturing both the personality and the public image of the statesman.

Today, the statue is preserved and displayed at Cantacuzino Castle in Bușteni.

I had a thought about Romania, the country itself and the language barrier, history tied up with Russia, Ukraine and Moldova while the langauge, Romanian, seems more tied up with Latin. So it has came to an idea of building the M GARAGE LTD. dacia - engine and mechanical parts, plus the interior including the seats, the dashboard, the rims and tyres (all the wheels) - from Lada 2110.

The next and last M-Dacia built will be based under the car manufacturer - Seat/Cupra (owned by VW) for the langauge roots of Latin instead of French which isnt close-enough to Romanian. That's majorly because of Lada joining in a partnership with Renault in 2008.

2003 M SupeRNova (EU-I4GAS)

This patinated terracotta bust portrays Queen Marie of Romania with a refined elegance characteristic of Frederic Storck’s mature sculptural style. The artist captures the queen’s noble presence through a harmonious balance of realism and idealization, emphasizing both her strength and her grace. Queen Marie’s face is modeled with soft yet well‑defined features: a calm, introspective expression, gently arched eyebrows, and a composed gaze that projects dignity. Her hair is arranged in broad, stylized waves, a hallmark of her iconic appearance in early 20th‑century portraiture.
The bust was made in the first quarter of the 20th century.
Today, the work is preserved and exhibited at the Frederic Storck and Cecilia Cuțescu‑Storck Museum, a historic house museum dedicated to the artistic legacy of the Storck family.

Frontal bust (head axis slightly deviated to the left) of King Carol I of Romania. Face, clothing - realistically made - descriptive. Hair parted in the middle, combed back, cut loose towards the nape, balding on the crown. Free forehead, firmly arched nose, mustache, beard - neatly combed. The king wears military uniform: jacket closed to the neck, chest loaded with decorations, mantle on shoulders placed asymmetrically (falling slightly on the back and exposing the left shoulder). The bust forms a common body with the square base.

The patinated bronze bust was made in 1910 and is located at the Suțu Palace, Bucharest.

The king is shown wearing a military ceremonial uniform, complete with richly detailed decorations, medals, and a sash that crosses the chest. His facial features—firm jawline, neatly groomed mustache, and steady, forward‑looking gaze—convey authority, resolve, and the calm determination associated with his reign during World War I and the Great Union of 1918.
Today, the bust is preserved and displayed at Palatul Suțu, part of the Bucharest Municipality Museum.
