3D scan of a fossil human skull excavated in the Mladeč Caves, Czech Republic, in 1881. With an absolute age of ca. 31,000 years, the Mladeč 1 skull is one of the oldest securely dated *Homo sapiens* finds in Europe. It provides rare insights into the morphology of our species in the European Upper Paleolithic. 

The Mladeč 1 skull is Number 47 of the NHM Top 100. The valuable original is not on display in the exhibition halls, but a cast can be found in Hall 14 of the NHM Vienna.

"The Separatist Council War Room was a secure command center located in the Klegger Corp Mining Facility on Mustafar during the Clone Wars. It was to here that the leaders of the Confederacy of Independent Systems retreated at the end of the conflict.

The war room was part of a secret command facility built onto the side of the Mustafar mining complex to act as a secure bunker for the Separatist Council. A landing pad was located outside the chamber, with a control room annex used to monitor approaching vessels. An observation balcony running the length of the war room's exterior provided a hellish view of the Mustafar mining operations far below."

Today, during my slumber, one of my Lusatian ancestors haunted my dream.

The site of a fort since the 1850s, the main prison building was built in 1910–12 as a U.S. Army military prison.

The United States Department of Justice acquired the United States Disciplinary Barracks, Pacific Branch, on Alcatraz on October 12, 1933. The island became adapted and used as a prison of the Federal Bureau of Prisons in August 1934 after the buildings were modernized and security increased. Given this high security and the island's location in the cold waters and strong currents of San Francisco Bay, prison operators believed Alcatraz to be escape-proof and America's most secure prison.

The silver brooch is distinguished by its semi-circular, hollow headplate. The headplate is embellished with five buttons of alternating shapes, which have been inserted, soldered and secured by iron pins. Three of these buttons are still intact. The longitudinally profiled bow is fitted with a diamond-shaped base plate featuring an animal head at one end. The inner surfaces of the head and base plates are decorated with five spiral tendrils in a fluted pattern, whilst the eyes and nostrils of the animal head are gilded. The frame of the foot and the central bar of the clasp are nielloed.

Openwork belt hook made from bronze. The basic shape is triangular. At the upper end, there is a hook that curves inwards. The fastening end is also triangular in shape, and five rivets are utilised to secure the end of the strap. The belt hook is embellished with openwork and cut-out patterns. The geometric patterns consist primarily of teardrop-shaped and circular motifs. The belt hook is used to fasten a belt by hooking it into a belt loop or a ring. Thechnologically it is a simple design which offers a quicker handling. However in contrast to a belt buckle, it was easily comes undone.

A negative impression of a right shoe sole with iron hobnails. It may be the sole of a men’s shoe, a so-called caliga. Remains of approximately 86 iron hobnails are still present on the sole. The area of the foot arch is largely free of hobnailing; only a few nails are found there to secure the outsole. In the present sole, the surrounding row of nails in the toe area appears to have shifted slightly toward the ball of the foot over time or already at the time of disposal of the torn sole.
