Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 is a supersonic jet fighter and interceptor aircraft, designed in the Soviet Union. Its nicknames include: "balalaika", because its planform resembles the stringed musical instrument of the same name; "Ołówek", Polish for "pencil". 
Approximately 60 countries on four continents have flown the MiG-21, and it still serves many nations six decades after its maiden flight. It made aviation records, becoming the most-produced supersonic jet aircraft in aviation history.

A Hurdy-Gurdy Or Wheel Fiddle Is a stringed instrument that produces sound by hand-crank With a the Wheel acting as Bow was believed to have been created around the 11th century and one of the early forms of organistrum. I loved the overall aesthetic of the instrument and attempted to re-create one!.

Over 5 years ago I've uploaded a model of an arrow. It was a pretty bad arrow but somehow it scored 2.5k downloads.

Today, during my slumber, one of my Lusatian ancestors haunted my dream.

**AND HE SAID**

> Mikhail, that arrow you made 5 years ago is so awful you made your entire family a laughing stock. Where are the strings? How is it secured? And why is there no space behind the feathers to hold it? How do you want to shot an arrow you can't hold?

And then I realised, I have failed. My absolutely awful fletching skills dishonored my entire ancestral line. 

But no longer.

Today is the day I repent.

Nice 100 triangles, string, smaller resolution texture while still being more detailed, reduced file size.

Oh, and I've reused the feathers, talk about recycling!

Low-Poly Arrow v2.0

I've created this heart with blender by creating the basic mesh first. Then I added a particle system inside the volume of the mesh and used the addon Animation Nodes to connect every particle with each other using smoothed curves. After that I gave the curve a bit of depth, turned it into a mesh again, uv unwrapped it and added an hdri for lighting. Finally I baked everything to a texture.

Infernal Magma Hound - Free Lava Creature Asset

Martello Tower (DU005-033) No. 10 on Shenick's Island, inside a promontory fort (DU005-116), 1km east of the north Dublin coastline protecting the strand at Skerries, Fingal.  Red Island Martello Tower No. 11 (DU005-018) visible 1.6km to the NW,  Drumanagh Martello Tower No. 9 (DU008-006003) stands 3.7km to the south. One of 12 ordnance towers constructed to the north of Dublin Bay in 1804 by Colonel Benjamin Fisher of the Royal Engineers in order to defend the Dublin coastline from a French Naval invasion during the Napoleonic Wars (1803-15). Two storey high circular shaped rubble built tower covered with a lime render. Tower was entered through a 1st floor doorway on the landward side accessed by an external ladder protected by a projecting machicolation.  The gun platform supported a 24-pounder cannon enclosed by a parapet wall carried on a cut stone string course. The artefact is a well-preserved limb of a composite reflex bow, featuring a recess for the bowstring. The term 'composite bow' is used to denote a bow that has been constructed from multiple parts and layers of organic origin. The limbs and grip are composed of one or more pieces of wood, which form a core.  The grip is constituted of varying numbers of horn or antler plates which were adhered to the core. The term "reflex" is employed to denote the bow whose limbs, in the unstrung state, are flexed outwards. In the strung state, the limbs are oriented vertically, and in the drawn state, they are directed towards the archer. 

This object was digitized through the ‘Kulturerbe digital’ program of the Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, Public Service and Sport.
