Rocky Desert V2 - Terrain

Skull of a young alligator (Alligator mississippiensis, OUVC 10389) with annotations of some of the blood vessels. It was legally provided to us by the Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge for research and education. We scanned the head region on the OUµCT scanner at a resolution of 90µm (0.090 mm). Scan data were imported into workstations running Avizo and digitally extracted the bones and soft tissues. This specimen was used by David Dufeau during his dissertation research and then was used by Ruger Porter during his dissertation research on dinosaur blood vessels and their role in thermal physiology. This specimen was part of the sample included in the PLOS ONE article by Dufeau and Witmer (http://bit.ly/2dWhTNZ) and a Journal of Anatomy article by Porter, Sedlmayr, & Witmer (http://bit.ly/2e0WqVg). The original CT scan data can be downloaded on Dryad (http://bit.ly/2ebdnZS), along with a 3D PDF that provides comparable content to what’s here but allows more control. The model can be downloaded  here as an FBX.

Iapetus – Two-Tone Surface Study

This model represents Iapetus, one of Saturn’s major moons, known for its striking two-tone appearance. One hemisphere is covered by Cassini Regio, a dark, carbon-rich region that contrasts sharply with the moon’s brighter, ice-dominated terrain on the opposite side.

The surface is depicted with subtle irregularities and gentle relief, emphasizing large-scale form rather than fine detail. The dramatic contrast between the dark and light regions is the defining feature of Iapetus and is believed to result from thermal processes and material redistribution over time.

This visualization focuses on clarity, lighting, and contrast to highlight Iapetus’s unique appearance. The model is optimized for real-time viewing and is intended as a stylized yet scientifically grounded representation of this unusual Saturnian moon.

"Be the gunner of a powerful VTOL Warship."

The VTOL Warship has a similar appearance and usage as the Osprey Gunner. The player can tell the pilot of the warship to maneuver around the map to attempt to get a better shot at enemy players, instead of just hovering over a single spot, and is able to switch between different HUDs; thermal and normal. Dual autocannons and rocket pods are available armaments. The Scorestreak reward is only available for a maximum of 55 seconds. It has 2 sets of flares, which means it requires 3 FHJ-18 AA or SMAW rockets to destroy it, or if the player is accurate enough, one RPG rocket is sufficient. Should a player destroy the VTOL Warship, the user controlling the Scorestreak still has control of the weapons while the aircraft is going down. This aircraft has only two engines unlike the civilian/transport VTOLs from the campaign, and a complement of heavy weapons, such as miniguns with explosive rounds and missiles.

Deployed in fixed positions around landing pads, dig sites, or hive hubs. They mount heavier secondary weapons (mortar tubes, anti-air flak pods) for area denial.

COL Meltdown Enforcer

The **E-75 “*Standardpanzer*”** was intended to replace the Tiger II tank. For ease of manufacture, the vehicle was to be built on the same production lines as its predecessor, and share as many components as possible.

On paper, the E-75’s upper front plate was angled at **60 degrees** (compared to 55 for the Tiger II) Drafts showed that the upper front plate was meant to be **150mm** for the E-75, increasing the effective thickness to around **300mm**. Statistics of the turret was vague however, some proposed that the E-75 uses an enlarged Tiger II Krupp turret, others believed it was a completely new design.

**Sadly, not a single E-75 sample was ever built.**

The **E-75 BLM (*Besondere Leistung Modernisiert*)** is the main battle tank variant of the original E-75 in **an alternative timeline**. It features **explosive reactive armour (ERA)**, **modular composite armour** on the turret and a **thermal sight** for the gunner.

A departure from standard Danish minimalism, the Zenvo Aurora Agil: Violet-Conductor is a high-output "Void-Tech" artifact. The exterior utilizes a Midnight Violet mirror-finish (#2E0854), wrapping around an exposed Forged Carbon spine.

The interior cabin functions as the car’s "Electrical Core," finished in Anodized Copper (#B87333) to symbolize raw conductivity and power. This thermal-heavy aesthetic is cooled by the signature Huzaifa Innovator Soft Lavender (#E6E6FA) glow, emitted from the quad-turbo V12 manifold and the digital instrumentation.

ZENVO AURORA - VIOLET-CONDUCTOR

**“Iron Leviathan”** is the common name for *Colossus ferrovitae*, a next‑generation armored platform developed during the era of autonomous battlefield engineering. Its dense, weathered plating wasn’t just protection, it housed a layered bio‑reactive alloy that subtly shifted rigidity under stress, a breakthrough meant to reduce catastrophic hull fractures. The clustered optics atop its turret formed an early multispectral array capable of reading thermal gradients across kilometers.

Its unexpected purpose emerged during environmental recovery missions. The Iron Leviathan’s immense stability and sensor suite made it ideal for navigating toxic, debris‑laden zones where human crews couldn’t operate. Over time, *C. ferrovitae* became less a symbol of war and more a rugged sentinel of restoration, proving that even the heaviest machines can be repurposed toward renewal.

VALKNUT Thermal Loop™

This is the model I designed for my computer animation class. The goal was to have a model with many parts, and so I went on to designing my dream computer build!

This features Thermaltakes Core P5 case alongside their watercooling pump/res combo, a ASUS Z370-e gaming Motherboard with an Intel I7-9700k CPU. Other components include Trident RGB RAM, Corsair fans and one of Nvidia's 2080 ti graphics cards

Dream Computer Setup

Black ceramic thermal jar with convex walls, a divergent neck, and a convex base. It is decorated with the modeled head and arms of a figure in relief, emerging from the lower portion of the neck. This vessel is notable for its double-walled construction, which functioned to keep liquids or food warm, similar to a thermos. Boiling water was poured through an aperture in the inner wall just below the rim, filling the interstitial space between the walls; The food was then placed inside the vessel’s inner chamber.

Double-walled Pot

The M1 Abrams is a third-generation American main battle tank designed by Chrysler Defense (now General Dynamics Land Systems) and named for General Creighton Abrams.
The M1A2 was a further improvement of the M1A1, with a commander's independent thermal viewer, weapon station, position navigation equipment, and a full set of controls and displays linked by a digital data bus.

The concrete remains of the capping structure of a geothermal vent, possibly used to heat a nearby building, on the east bank of the Varmá River, by the footbridge next to the Frost and Fire Hotel, Hveragerði, Iceland.
