Mei Posed 001 - Female Walking Business Model

An older highlander woman with sharp features looks at us from the bust, with a face marked by the hardships of life, and yet with a strong and noble appearance at the same time. This hard, experienced, yet gentle woman was depicted with great care and diligence, as well as perceptible tenderness in approaching the model. It is not surprising, as the sculpture portrays the mother of the artist – Teresa Gąsienica Brzega, a simple highlander, a woman who had raised her four children on her own in the difficult times of the poverty prevailing in Podhale.

Bust of a highlander woman

Polychrome tripod plate with curving, flaring walls and conical supports. The interior decoration portrays a seated figure wearing an elaborate headdress and circular ear ornaments, with flexed arms, a short skirt, and red body paint applied to the skin. The figure is encircled by three red circles and framed by a decorative band composed of four paired vertical panels in orange with black on a cream ground, alternating with vertical red bands. At the center of the plate is an intentionally made circular perforation, corresponding to the act of “killing” the vessel, a practice commonly associated with intentional deposits. NAA of the ceramic paste indicates a likely area of manufacture in the vicinity between Caracol and Nakúm, in eastern Petén.

His relaxed posture with one arm draped over his cloak conveys both physical grace and thoughtful stillness. The iron medium lends weight to the otherwise agile deity grounding the swift footed messenger in a moment of serene introspection.

This patinated terracotta bust portrays Queen Marie of Romania with a refined elegance characteristic of Frederic Storck’s mature sculptural style. The artist captures the queen’s noble presence through a harmonious balance of realism and idealization, emphasizing both her strength and her grace. Queen Marie’s face is modeled with soft yet well‑defined features: a calm, introspective expression, gently arched eyebrows, and a composed gaze that projects dignity. Her hair is arranged in broad, stylized waves, a hallmark of her iconic appearance in early 20th‑century portraiture.
The bust was made in the first quarter of the 20th century.
Today, the work is preserved and exhibited at the Frederic Storck and Cecilia Cuțescu‑Storck Museum, a historic house museum dedicated to the artistic legacy of the Storck family.

The physical strain articulated muscles and realistic postures give the piece a raw sense of labor and life highlighting the communal effort and ritual surrounding food preparation in antiquity.

Fabienne & Percy 001 - Mother and Child

Polychrome plate (red, black, and white on dark orange) with tubular supports containing rattles. The interior surface is decorated with a red band along the rim, followed by a band featuring two stylized zoomorphs (a jaguar and a possible reptile) extending across the entire inner wall. At the center, a scene portrays two figures seated on a throne painted black with red and white circles, engaged in a conversational posture.  The principal figure, is seated and shown in left profile, wearing a headdress, earspools, necklace, and pectoral, with a loincloth decorated with jaguar-skin motifs. The secondary figure is kneeling in an attitude of reverence. The surface retains areas of repainting.

I made this for a James bond project, where I recreated Q's lab from the movie Goldfinger with Unreal Engine. 

It's a bond movie so it needed accessive cigarettes and ashtrays.
