3D Scan of Godzilla toy from NECA, based on Legendary Pictures' 2019 *Godzilla: King of the Monsters* and part of the Monsterverse.

5/21/2020: Re-Uploaded with updated Texture.

3D scanned in color with the Artec Space Spider 3D scanner. Total time spent 3D scanning: 5 minutes. After scanning in initial position standing upright on turntable, the figure was flipped on its left and right sides to capture under the tail and feet. 

Total time processing in Artec Studio software: about 3 hours. This articulated figure was rigid during flipping, however the tail segments moved slightly. In order to preserve this detail and fix the movement in post, the raw data was duplicated and individual tail segments were isolated so they could independelty be repositioned relative to the initial upright scan.

This small ornament, wooden deer, is scanned by desktop 3D scanner[ EinScan-SE](https://www.einscan.com/desktop-3d-scanners/einscan-se/). Textured surface and clear edge line are well-captured with turntable. Every scan generates high-quality 3D data and reconstructs the real geometry of the object with fine details.

Hello everyone this is my first post in sketchfab  
I was heavily inspired by some vintage 80s japanese songs that were playing in Gramophone to do this project . The model was Mostly inspired from this specific version of modern gramophone rendition " https://www.amazon.com/Phonograph-Gramophone-Turntable-Decoration-Bluetooth/dp/B081PR68YX " . I have been trying to further increase my prop creation skills and specially my texturing skills .
Although the Original Reference was Modern Take on gramophone, I decided to make it more antique to give it a nostalgic feel 
Models were made inside Blender and textured in substance painter and Adobe Photoshop . The scene building was done in UE5 as well as Inside Blender for the turntables. You can see that here : https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Qn0wGx

Another scan of the bone which is already in my collection.
Here I tested the new automatic turntable made by 3DMakerPro that is connected to the TOUCAN 3D Scanner.
With 50 frames per aspect and four aspects (scans), the quality of the model is better than 0.2mm regarding the resolution.
In my opinion a very good addition to the scanner.

A microwave oven is a compact kitchen appliance designed for quickly heating, cooking, and defrosting food using electromagnetic waves called microwaves. It features a rectangular metal body with a front-opening door, usually fitted with a transparent mesh window for safe viewing during operation.
Inside, the oven includes a rotating glass turntable that ensures even heating of food. The interior is typically coated with heat-resistant material for durability and easy cleaning. On the front panel, there is a control interface consisting of buttons, a digital display, or rotary knobs that allow users to adjust time, power levels, and cooking modes.
Microwave ovens operate by generating microwaves that excite water molecules in food, producing heat internally rather than from an external source. This makes them energy-efficient.
The exterior design is usually sleek and modern, available in various finishes such as black, white, or stainless steel, making it suitable for contemporary kitchens.

## Scanning
Three scans were done, all in the same setting: Owl placed on turntable with markers around it, marker tracking used and exposure set to ensure no under- or overexposure. All scans were taken until full data quality was reached.  
Scans:
- 0.2mm IR small mode (highest resolution selectable), texture capture enabled
- 0.1mm laser mode, texture capture enabled
- 0.05mm laser mode (high detail capture of the face area, whole bird in 0.05 would result in unusable large scan)

## Post-Processing
No special post-processing was done, only meshing at default settings within Exstar Hub and performing texture optimization.

## Scanning
The scans were captured with wireless connection to my workstation to capture the data faster (~80FPS over WiFi).  
For the laser scan marker tracking was used. The scan bench was placed on a turntable with marker geometries placed around it to allow scanning from shallower angles (as seen in last picture). The resolution was set to 0.1mm and exposure was adjusted so the white print wasn't overexposed. For laser mode I used a combination of cross, parallel and single line mode, changing them can be done by double pressing the scan start button on the scanner.   

## Post-Processing
For both scans processing was done using the recommended settings within CrealityScan. This is basically only Fusion since it already generates a mesh at this step which can directly be exported.  
After exporting the meshes I used Quicksurface to align the meshes to the coordinate system and each other.

## Scanning
The scans were captured with wireless connection to my workstation to capture the data faster (with latest update laser mode now reaches 120FPS over WiFi, not bad at all).  
For the laser scan marker tracking was used. The scan bench was placed on a turntable with marker geometries placed around it to allow scanning from shallower angles (as seen in last picture). The resolution was set to 0.1mm and exposure was adjusted so the white print wasn't overexposed. For laser mode I used a combination of parallel and cross line laser mode, changing them by using the scanners touch screen while scanning.   

## Post-Processing
For all three scans precessing was done using the recommended settings within ExScan Rigil. This includes point cloud generation and meshing.  
After exporting the meshes I used Quicksurface to align the meshes to the coordinate system and each other. The laser scans had to be reduced to allow upload to Sketchfab.

Wooden Cart Wheel — 3D Model | Game Ready | PBR

I'm not sure why this model looks so dark on Sketchfab.  Kiri Scan exported it as an OBJ file, even though I asked it to form a GLB file. Very strange.

I discovered that for some reason shading had been set on the model when exported to an OBJ file and uploaded onto sketchfab. I turned off shading, and the model looks well lit now.

Found this skull on a badger sett survey. Worked out a way to scan all round the skull using a cake decoration turntable.
