This scene uses ten textures of either 1k, 2k, and 4k with the walls/ceiling/floor using a 8k texture.

Here's a visualization of 688 exoplanets from [NASA's exoplanet catalog](https://go.nasa.gov/2y0sll0) (which contains 4152 exoplanets as of April 28th, 2020), done with Python and Blender.

**Disclaimer:** I filtered the exoplanets according to parameters of interest ("only" kept 688), and spent some time recomputing parameters (such as surface gravity or temperature) while re-learning some "basic" black-body radiation and orbital mechanics equations, before mapping the resulting parameters to positions and textures in Blender. The values in this visualization are therefore approximations (and should not be used for interstellar navigation &#128517;).

Exoplanets

Stone lion is a common object to ward off evil spirits in Chinese traditional culture. It is a sculpture with artistic value and ornamental value that stone is used as raw material to carve the image of lion. The earliest stone lion is in front of the tomb of Gaoyi in the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is a kind of decoration often used in traditional Chinese architecture. It can be seen on Chinese palaces, temples, pagodas, bridges, mansions, gardens, mausoleums and buttons. But more often, stone lions are a pair of lions placed on the left and right sides of the gate.

The little bush moa (*Anomalopteryx didiformis*) is an extinct bird from New Zealand. Several species of moa used to live in New Zealand, and all of these species were flightless. The little bush moa was the smallest moa species.

This skeleton has been constructed by digitising bones from the ornithological collections of the Auckland War Memorial Museum, Auckland, New Zealand. I'm a fan of cars from NFS, NFS2, NFS3: hot pursuit. 
I like to create accurate replicas of the cars from these games. 
And i styled this McLaren F1 according to the NFS2 version. 
For work, i used a mid-poly model, for the possibility of easy use for games, 
but replaced all the small details of the exterior with HD details in order to achieve quality and good appearance. 
I created an exact (ND 4 SPD) license plate, 
some textures and quality wheels. 
Just as in all my cars, i always create the correct reflecting geometry of mirrors, 
and the wheels will never hang in the void (like many 3D models and cars from games), 
because i really love the cars vhich i make. 
And i'm glad to share that with you, 
if you value real quality, attention to details and a rational approach to work.

McLaren F1 1993 NFS2 Edition By Alex.Ka.

The 3D model presents a historical mannequin (a dress form) dating to 1900s. The virtual mannequin was generated automatically by using a new method of parametric modelling (for further details see https://doi.org/10.1108/IJCST-06-2019-0093). The values of body measurements were taken from a sizing table. The measurements are: bust – 81.4 cm; waist – 51.4 cm; hip – 92.4 cm. The animated version of the [Earthquake map for the years 2010 and 2011](https://skfb.ly/6Mnsn) ([this model](https://skfb.ly/6MnyD) showing every earthquake since the year 2000 might also interest you ;) ).

The animation spans on the whole two years: a frame represents 6 days, and at 0.5x speed (the default value), one second is therefore equivalent to three months of data.

Although the main seismic zones are more easily visible on the static version of the visualization, the animation clearly helps to identify the earthquakes of February 2010 in Chile and March 2011 in Japan, which appear as bright "flashes".

Their respective aftershocks - spanning on a few weeks/months - are also visible and clearly showcase the relaxing of mechanical constraints in the subduction zones.

This model carries no value other than design. It was made long ago and quickly and does not demonstrate my modeling skills.

In terms of design, only the exterior, steering wheel and seats are worked out.
The other details of the interior and engine bay were not worked out, they are only to fill the void.

During World War II, the first generation of guided bombs was developed as nations sought ways to improve bombing accuracy against heavily defended or high-value targets. Early examples included Germany’s Fritz X, a radio-guided armor-piercing bomb used against warships; the American GB-4, one of the first U.S. television-guided glide bombs; the AS-2 BAT, a radar-guided glide bomb designed to autonomously home in on naval targets; and Japan’s Ki-148, a radio-controlled guided bomb intended for precision attacks. This project presents a custom designer chessboard featuring a deep mahogany-red wood finish, golden engravings, and integrated color-matched drawers for piece storage. The chess pieces are split into two distinct sets inspired by lapis lazuli and ruby/marble-red stone.

Each set uses its own 2K PBR material, while the chessboard is textured with a dedicated 4K PBR material. The pieces are primarily instanced from a single classic base set (king, queen, rook, bishop, knight, and pawn).
Total triangle count: ~37.5k.

The main focus was precise UV layout, particularly for correct wood grain direction, and fine-tuning metalness and roughness values to achieve visually striking, high-quality renders. While not a strict 1:1 replica, the project was guided by real-world references. The chessboard and drawer dimensions were established first and used as the foundation for modeling and scaling the remaining elements.

3D scan of a DAF LF 210 Euro 6 with curtain sider upfit (2014 facelift)

Intended to be used as a modelling reference, scanned from video and scaled/aligned to real life size. Not sure the scaling is spot on as I couldn't find reliable dimension values nor know what exact spec this is but hopefully its close enough.

Not perfect as it's scanned from visual data but should be proportionally correct enough to make a good base for modelling.

Originally scanned to be a modelling reference for me and Spiicy's BeamNG traffic mod projects, realistically I'm never going to get round to modelling most of the cars I have though. If you do end up modelling one from this scan then model contributions for the mod are greatly appreciated :)
