I was looking for some abandoned places and this picture held my attention :

The cross vaults were a bit tricky to model but nothing compared to the texture baking (all the crashes while rendering drove me nut!!).

Old church modeling - Interior Scene

This is the Hardy Tree in [St Pancras Old Church](https://goo.gl/9AiihJ), Camden, London, UK ([OSM](https://goo.gl/ydVXeA)). The tree was reportedly planted by the author Thomas Hardy and the roots are embedded in pile of gravestones.

The point cloud is a combination of a RIEGL VZ-400 scan and a ZEB-REVO (to get detail around the gravestones). Scanning done by University College London ([@kungphil](https://twitter.com/kungphil), [@mathiasdisney](https://twitter.com/mathiasdisney), [@UCLgeography](https://twitter.com/UCLgeography)).

This work was funded by the NERC National Centre for Earth Observation (NCEO).

Hardy Tree (Camden, UK) and gravestones

Hello there,

This is a freely inspired scene from Mirror's Edge Catalyst.

My goal was to train modeling as low poly as I could and to improve my baking skills. Some retopo has been done on pretty everything, especially on the cloth simulated stuffs. 

The scene is entirely self lit thanks to few light maps on the second uvchannel.

Textures from Poliigon.com and some materials have been done with Reynante Martinez's Cycles Material Vault.

Arc de Triomphe, Paris

The Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile; lit. 'Triumphal Arch of the Star') is one of the most famous monuments in Paris, France, standing at the western end of the Champs-Élysées at the centre of Place Charles de Gaulle, formerly named Place de l'Étoile—the étoile or "star" of the juncture formed by its twelve radiating avenues. The location of the arc and the plaza is shared between three arrondissements, 16th (south and west), 17th (north), and 8th (east). The Arc de Triomphe honours those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars, with the names of all French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces. Beneath its vault lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from World War I. [wiki]

The Steampunk Vault

A road, alley (St Katherines Row) and (pivate) carpark off Crutched Friars, London. The carpark is situated in one of the brick vaults under Fenchurch Street Station.

French Ordinary Court

Salvatierra Castle is located in the municipality of Calzada de Calatrava (Ciudad Real, Spain). Its period of greatest historical prominence focuses between the battles of Alarcos (1195) and Las Navas de Tolosa (1212), playing a decisive role as a preamble of the latter. Between 1198 and 1211 the Order of Calatrava installed its convent headquarters in this fortress and was consolidated as the Order of Salvatierra. In 1226 it was definitely abandoned when its last Muslim defenders handed it over to Christians in the context of Las Navas pacts. Since 1992, it has been part of the Cultural Interest Assets (BIC) catalog of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha. Despite its advanced state of ruin, it still retains part of the donjon, numerous barrel vaults and large walled spaces that acted as albacar and barbican.

La maison de la Sirène (siège de l'association des Amis de Collonges) : elle possède une toiture en lauzes à grès rouge, un porche voûté, une fenêtre à accolade qui surplombe une porte gothique à droite de laquelle une sirène sculptée tient un peigne et un miroir. Elle date du XVIe siècle. Elle est classée monument historique en 1949.

The house of the Mermaid (seat of the association of the Friends of Collonges): it has a red sandstone lauzes roof, a vaulted porch, a window with brace which overhangs a gothic door on the right of which a carved siren holds a comb and a mirror. It dates from the sixteenth century. It is classified as a historical monument in 1949.

Maison de la Sirène, Collonges la rouge (19)

The church of Piovà Massaia, attributed to Benedetto Alfieri, is dedicated to Saints Peter and George and was built between 1749 and 1774 on the initiative of Count Ricci, on the site of the ancient church of San Michele in Monte Cornigliano.
The building has the typical baroque plan of an elongated Greek cross and an imposing octagonal dome covering the intersection of the arms of the cross.
The two-bay presbytery has a barrel vault and dome with an elliptical base and ends with a semicircular apse with a ribbed semi-vaulted vault.
The galleries have barrel vaults and have carved and painted wooden balustrades.
The façade has two superimposed orders and three bodies with three entrances a large circular window and a tympanum at the top.
The imposing bell tower, whose construction began in 1779, recalls the Juvarra examples of Superga and the Alfierian one of San Gaudenzio in Novara.
At the top of the bell tower is the lantern delimited by angular volutes and surmounted by a metal spire.

Chiesa dei S.S. Pietro e Giorgio a Piovà Massaia

A large room in the (upper part of) Wakefield Tower at the Tower of London. Built in the early 13th Century by King Henry III.

Sign in alcove reads: "KING HENRY III's PALACE. This is the Wakefield Tower, one of the oldest parts of the medieval palace. King Henry III, Edward I's father ordered this tower to be built in 1220. It was part of a grand new riverside palace for when the King and Queen stayed at the Tower. This important room was separated from the small private chapel by a wooden screen. The painted decoration, textiles, screen and throne are all modern replicas, copied from real objects, manuscript, illuminations and descriptions in documents from the 1200s. The stone vaulted ceiling was added in the 1800s.

Wakefield Tower Room

This is a totally sustainable project under construction in Amman, Jordan. Built by local stone using thick load baring walls 1 m width with different ceilings type like a cross vault, catenary vaults, domes on four squinches & Shallow domes, as well as trying to add a local architecture vocabulary from our regain ( arch details, patterns, Muqarnas....) our target to set this project as a good sample of traditional construction method and help others to start similar projects

Arcade & stair over an arch - MAS design office

Gateway to the University of Applied Arts Vienna as part of the Heiligenkreuzerhof. The Heiligenkreuzerhof is a courtyard ensemble in the center of Vienna. It is located between Schönlaterngasse and Grashofgasse and is today surrounded by a complex of the monastery courtyard, prelature, chapel and apartment building. The Heiligenkreuzerhof is often referred to as the oldest apartment house in Vienna. It was built in the 12th/13th century and has belonged to the Cistercian monastery of Heiligenkreuz since that time. The medieval cellar vaults still date from this time. In 1587 stonemasonry work was carried out by Italian masters. However, a large part of the courtyard, the chapel and the prelate's courtyard were demolished in the Baroque period and rebuilt by order of the abbots of Heiligenkreuz Monastery from 1659 to 1676. The courtyard got its present appearance only after further reconstructions in 1769-1771, from which time the facades also date.

Heiligenkreuzerhof

Ce cheval tricycle pour enfant possède une chaîne Vaucanson. Inventée au 18e siècle par Jacques Vaucanson (1709-1782), inventeur et mécanicien français, cette chaîne permet une rotation continue ce qui lui valut le nom de chaîne sans fin. Ce type de jouet était réservé aux classes aisées. 

Ce cheval tricycle est en bois et en métal, il date du 19e siècle.

🏰🍯 Honey Bee Castle Build 🍯🏰

I created a beautiful giant castle surrounded by golden honey and buzzing bees! 🐝✨
This magical castle stands in the middle of nature, protected by bee guardians and rivers of sweet honey flowing around the walls.

The towers shine like gold in the sunlight, and the entrance is decorated with honeycomb blocks and glowing lights. Around the castle, you can see busy bees flying everywhere, collecting honey and protecting their kingdom.

Inside the castle, everything has a royal honey theme — golden rooms, sweet storage vaults, and a powerful throne made of honeycomb and crystal. 💛

This is not just a castle… it’s the Kingdom of Bees! 👑🐝

The stinger smg was introduced in Chapter 3 Season 1 and ran through Chapter 3 Season 3 until it was vaulted when the Chrome in Paradise arrived. Gunnar beared this weapon as a boss mythic. Enjoy!
