Here's a visualization of global winds and precipitations on September 1st, 2019 (when [Hurricane Dorian](https://tinyurl.com/y3jewqqt) was hovering over the Bahamas, off the coast of Florida).

* Created in Python (using Matplotlib, NetCDF4, Scipy and Numpy modules)
* Public wind and precipitation data from the [NCEP/NCAR Reanalysis](https://tinyurl.com/y6mfqr6f)
* Wind particles colored according to speed (using Matplotlib "inferno" colormap)
* Rain particles scattered according to the precipitation rate

The seamless-loop effect was achieved by periodically spawning the particles at their initial location on a time range greater than the animation, and subsampling this time range before export. This effect was further enhanced by fading each particle's color to black at their birth and death, and using the "Additive" opacity in Sketchfab material settings to hide black points.

Abandoned Warehouse - Interior Scene

A scene inspired by "the last of us" (best game ever!)
It was a nightmare to uv unwrap for the baking...! But thanks to the TextureAtlas add on, it was a bit less painful and time consuming.
Much more details could have been added, but I've already spent too much time on it!

Postwar City - Exterior Scene

This model shows the external anatomy of the human heart.  The annotations reflect general features of the heart, with 3D models on coronary vasculature of the heart soon to come.


The model was created from scratch in ZBrush as part of my MSc Medical Art course at the University of Dundee.  It is part of a educational resource project to aid students' learning in the vasculature of the heart, where a 3D printed model has also been created to be used as a comparison for Dundee University's Thiel Cadaver Facility, where the hearts can become quite flat during embalming. 


The project is in collaboration with Mr. Luke Reid, Lecturer in Human Anatomy at the University of Dundee, who confirmed anatomical accuracy of the model. Credit also goes to 3D4medical as my main source of reference and inspiration.

This model is derived from the Egyptian Museum of Berlin's 3D scan of the *Bust of Nefertiti,* obtained by Cosmo Wenman after a three-year freedom of information effort directed at the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation. This model was captured autonomously by Skydio 3D Scan. 3D Scan is a first-of-its-kind adaptive scanning software built on top of Skydio Autonomy. It allows the drone to automate data capture for generating 3D models with comprehensive coverage and ultra-high resolution, so that crews can perform higher quality scans in less time and with minimal pilot training.

Mock Helicopter Crash Scene

A **map of Dark Souls** recreated in 1/bigger than 1 scale. Made by scanning, heavily editing and combining the game's invisible collision datas in Blender to make something viewable when close. It took longer than I expected, and it's far from, you know, good, but I hope it's educational or entertaining.
*(Oolacile, Ariamis and Undead Asylum not included due to the file being too big)*

Note for Unreal Engine Users
For some reason I do not know why Unreal Engine has these textures as super reflective. If you come across this problem I would recommend increasing the brightness of the roughness maps to 3.0 for the floor and 4.2 for the wall textures etc.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Venator Prefab

This is a project I have been working on for the last few months. I tried many new techniques and I feel like it tops my last model by a lot. I have decided to give this model away for free so everyone can enjoy it.

The model was created in Blender 2.93 and the interior was textured in substance painter. The interior can be changed into 4 different colors. Tan (what it is currently), Black, Blue, and Brown.
