Magnum Opus of the Storm King

O Theatro Municipal , localizado na Praça Ramos de Azevedo teve suas obras iniciadas em junho de 1903. A construção levou oito anos para ser finalizada e foi projetada pelo arquiteto que nomeia a praça, Ramos de Azevedo. No ano de 1981 o edifício foi tombado pelo Conselho de Defesa do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico (Condephaat). O Arenito Itararé é a principal rocha de construção da fachada do Theatro Municipal, presente em toda a parte inferior, inclusive nos pilares esculpidos no formato de Hércules e Atlas. No entanto, é uma rocha frágil devido à presença de esmectita em sua composição (Grossi & Del Lama, 2018). A esmectita é um tipo de mineral expansivo que induz o desplacamento de blocos e sua subsequente rápida deterioração. Por conta disso o Theatro passa por diversos projetos de reforma, visando a conservação do estado atual da construção.

Detta ben så väl som ett skulderblad har blivit kopplade till en mytisk historia och brukade visas upp i Visby domkyrka. De estimeras vara från 1600- talet och nämns även av Carl von Linné när han besökte kyrkan 1741.

Detta ben så väl som ett kotben har blivit kopplade till en mytisk historia och brukade visas upp i Visby domkyrka. De estimeras vara från 1600-talet och nämns även av Carl von Linné när han besökte kyrkan 1741.

I designed this 1 inch RAM ball adapter to attach my Qubo Bike Cam Pro to the handlebar of my motorcycle. but it could be used for other things as well.

This can be 3D printed on an FFF 3D printer without supports. Due to the high compressive force on the part, I strongly recommend that this part be printed with 100% infill (solid).

Although its advisable to print this part using ABS, I did a test print of a prototype using black PLA and used it. Surprisingly, the part worked just fine (even in the summer heat of Goa) and I have been using the PLA part ever since.

金色孔雀王（寺伝原名：散脂大将）是京都三十三間堂內守護千手觀音的「二十八部眾」護法神之一，為國寶，創作於鎌倉時代，像高164釐米。其形象源於能喰毒蛇的孔雀所神格化的鳥神。雕像最大特徵是其戲劇性的 “割面相”​ ：呈現一張憤怒的新面孔從原有破裂面容中浮現的獨特造型，具有三目，戴有頰當，極富張力。其左手小指部分已破損缺失。此像展現了鎌倉佛師在表現護法神變幻與威嚴時的高度藝術創造力。

The statue of Golden Peacock King (temple tradition name: Sanchi Taishō) is one of the Twenty-Eight Deva Guardians protecting the Thousand-Armed Kannon at Sanjūsangen-dō. A National Treasure​ from the Kamakura period, it stands 164 cm tall. It embodies the deification of a peacock known for devouring poisonous snakes. Its most striking feature is the dramatic “split-face” composition: a new, fierce countenance with three eyes emerges as if from within the original split visage, creating powerful tension. The little finger on its left hand is damaged and missing. This statue exemplifies the remarkable artistic creativity of Kamakura-period sculptors in expressing the transformative power and majesty of guardian deities.

Darth Nihilus consumed all life on the planet, sparing Marr and taking her as his apprentice aboard the Ravager, forging a Force bond.

Sent to hunt a growing Force presence, Marr confronted exiled Jedi Meetra Surik in 3951 BBY. Defeated and moved by Surik’s destiny, Marr turned to the light and joined her, helping locate surviving Jedi and aiding in the Battle of Telos IV, where she slew Nihilus and overcame her past. Surik later defeated Darth Traya and Darth Sion at Malachor V, ending the Triumvirate, as Traya foretold Marr’s role in rebuilding the Jedi Order.

The lid features a standing figure wearing an ornate headdress embellished with floral appliqués, butterflies, circular elements, and pendant fringes in yellow and green pigments. Crowning the headdress is a supernatural butterfly visage with prominent fangs, an iconographic motif closely associated with warfare in Mesoamerica. The figure bears an oversized nose ornament and holds circular disks with attached fringes, while his garment rendered as a feathered costume, it includes a pectoral medallion across the chest. The pedestal base displays a frontal talud-tablero motif and vertical lateral flanges."

## Scanning
For scanning I placed the USB-stick (which was the donor of the USB plug) on one of my marker geometries. To prevent movement I used some blue tack to prop up the stick. Some of my latest tests actually made me a bit more skeptical about blue tack since it tends to slowly deform when under load so more static mounts are advisable. Currently testing a few geometries for this and will share as soon as I'm satisfied...  
Back to scanning: One rotation of the turntable was made at proper exposure, since the reflective metal of the plug is quite hard to scan, I covered the part in a coat of scan spray. As scan settings I used high resolution with a smoothing value of 20 (provides the best results from my experience).

## Post-Processing
After scanning I simply meshed the scan at highest quality and exported the mesh to Quicksurface where I aligned the scan and isolated the plug.
